Cal Ripken Jr., marries Anne Arundel Circuit Court judge

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Cal Ripken Jr., has had a busy week.

His spokesman confirmed Friday that he got married over the weekend, to Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge Laura Kiessling over the weekend.

A few days later, Ripken and his family sued his hometown of Aberdeen for breach of contract regarding Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium.

Ripken and his new wife are living in the Annapolis area, according to Maroon PR.

She changed her name, according to the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County website, where she is listed as Hon. Laura S. Ripken.

Cal Ripken divorced his wife, Kelly, in 2016 after almost 30 years of marriage.

Judge Laura Ripken is set to preside over the trial of the Capital Gazette mass shooting suspect.
