Had lunch buffet in cafe east with my friends as I was staying in the hotel for a few days. Warmly welcome by a few staffs in the reception. They are all very nice, especially the restaurant manager Jurgen, offered me great window seat after...requesting. Nice chatting with him and he even offered a small cake for my friend to celebrate her birthday. Great surprise and nice food. Food in buffet was also explicitly delicious, was told Chef Gary in charge with all the food, excellent! Must come back next time and recommend to all!More

We together with my friends to have a dinner buffet at cafe East. I would like to complement a waitress, Kelly, who provided professional and wonderful services to us. And even assisted us in changing our uncountable chairs (the handles are too high for customers)...upon our request. On the other hand, food provided is wonderful! Must return again in the future. Everything is outstanding except the high-handle chairs. We hope the management can address this issue!!!More

Good food only. If the lobsters can be made in hot food which is better. The beef steak is excellent and all staff are polite. Yuanbei (tape) and octopus should be included in the Sashimi corner from Monday to Friday. No foie gras is provided....Staff should inform customers that there is 3-hour free parking when they book for the buffet.More

We ate ate this restaurant in our hotel because it offered a great choice of dishes covering eastern and western dishes. All the food we tried was deliciously cooked and the staff were very attentive. My big tip is for hotel residents to join their...‘Be our diner’ scheme as soon as you arrive. We did so and received 30% reduction in our restaurant bill and then 25% reduction at the bars. Well worth having.More

We have a very sweet and lovely experience with this hotel. My wife and I are the member of the hotel and we always go to the bar when we were dating. Last year, we visited the Cafe East with our baby and we found...they had no nursery room and the nursery facilities were all in the female washroom. I was not happy with that and I made a comment to the manager on duty. I said we should not only rely on mommy to take care kid, daddy should be able to help. Also, we should not force the boy to go female washroom if his daddy is around. The manager is understandable to our concern and was unexpectedly to arrange us a guest room that we could use the washrooms there. This is a very sweet arrangement and excellent risk and customer management. We built us a very best relationship and we start to visit Cafe East frequently, sometime we goes for the buffet there 3 times a month. Recently, they have the renovation in the washrooms on the floor of Cafe East. It is really impression that they have changed the whole layout of the Male washroom which allows them to install the nursery table there. It is a really amazing hotel and restaurant, they are caring the customer need and taking very serious to all feedback. They are really listening to our voice.More

Where do I begin? The lobsters were delicious, garlic prawns tasty. The line for teppanyaki grill was long so tried some later and the lamb, wagyu and prawns were very good. Huge tasty prawns the highlight cooked on here. The sushi area looked fresh and...amazing but we didn’t have very long as we needed to shop some fun things for our children that night! Just tried the caviar sushi, which was perfect. The flavours of the Indian spinach sauce I could drink it was so flavoursome. The lamb tender and not fatty. However, for me the dessert section was incredible. Usually I snub macaroons because they are disappointing and dry or ‘fake and hollow’. These are the best I’ve had in the world! Including Europe. The pistachio, hazelnut and raspberry were my favourite. Wish I could have bought some to take home. The handmade chocolates were so much better than the disappointing Godiva chocolates. The praline hearts our very favourite. Would have bought these too! Some hotels leave chocolates on the bed as a turn down or special option... I loved the tiny portions of desserts so you could try everything. Adored the house made melt in mouth biscuits! Praised your patisserie chef and Raymond on these highlights. Only tiny thing is that both my hot chocolates were lukewarm. The Haagen dazs raspberry sorbet was a perfect finish to the meal...I will be buying this for hubby so thank you ❤️More
