The casino is huge and has plenty of machines to play.

This casino has good restaurants, the steak house is pretty good, but pricey, about $60-75 per person. Even though it was expensive, it gave me a quiet place with my husband to have a glass of wine.

The down side is that many people come with children. Yes children as young as a few months old. Why. Children should stay home, there’s absolutely nothing for the children to play with or enjoy themselves. It is sad that irresponsible parents bring their young children to a gambling place that is meant for adults.

This casino is convenient for people living in Sacramento but it is a two-hour drive for people from the San Francisco Bay Area. The lobby is lofty and welcoming. The casino itself is spacious but directions to restaurants and restrooms are easy to find. There is a variety of restaurants covering different price ranges and taste. The top level (5th floor) of the self parking garage also offers a convenient vantage point of the neighboring almond orchards and vineyards. This is an added bonus for photographers.

We were looking forward to our stay here but all in all we were pretty disappointed. We stayed in the north tower and the rooms were nice and the bathroom well layed out. The casino did not have many interesting slots and we barely won anything. But the biggest disappointment was the food. I went to the Asian Kitchen when we first arrived to get food to go. Honestly it was almost inedible. Later, after losing all our money we decied to go to the 24 hour cafe. At this point we were pretty hungry and tired. Although there was just a few tables occupied the hostess said it would be a 40 minute wait as they only had one server. They were not even taking to go orders. The had a deli counter with some pre-made sandwich like you get at an airport on the other side of the casino, again almost inedible food. The next morning we decide to go down for breakfast, again besides the deli, the cafe was the only choice. Now its at least a 20 minute wait, we said forget it and headed over to the deli again for some packaged bagles. Not a great experience, I would recommend skipping this.

I was so disspointed yesterday going to Cache Creek casino after the SIP had been lifted. I have been watching commercials and news broad casting regarding the cautions being taken to reopen casinos. When we walked through the lobby for room check in we could see distancing. Upon entering the gaming part it was a whole new story.

First of all people SMOKING everywhere without masks on. In walkways at games everywhere, it was impossible to avoid. I went to the non smoking area very small section to find 2 smokers there and no one stopping them. How is it safe for people to spew smoke from their lungs into the air during a pandemic? It is not!

Second no social distancing, games were on and guests could sit elbow to elbow as always. I found a place away from others put my players card in and a woman set right next to me removed her mask and pulled out cigarettes. I leaped up and left my game. This is a Tuesday afternoon not a Friday night, a virus is raging. I expected so much more and will not be returning. Another concern was machines are not cleaned between guests. In the restaurant the seats and tablets were cleaned between guests but in the casino spend your money and your health is of no concern to them.

ANOTHER terrible head-on collision nearby on undivided Highway 16 Sunday; Casino should help state to reduce illegal lane changes and consequences. The casino is not consistent in COVID19 enforcement of masks and the cleaning of machines. The hand sanitizer dispensers are hit-or-miss. Their promotions create crowds and thus put casino profits over general customer safety during a pandemic. While polite, cashier cage can be slow due to customers doing credit transactions. Most cashout machines do not dispense coins. The plusses are relatively good paytables on video poker and clean restrooms, good food choices.

I rated this review a 1 star because I have proven my theory several times over that the cameras above the slot machines follow us every where we go during each visit and your machine can be controlled to not pay out by the staff up stairs. They first identify you by a facial recognition software when you first are photo graphed and temperature is taken when entering the main casino floor. Then the security/ techs are notified you showed up and the cameras above begin tracking your every move and whereabouts. Okay so I would get up set each time several machines paid out nothing of less than I put in and showed I was unhappy but did not damage any machine. I understood that my luck each week of playing one day could not be that bad. Why? Because how is it possible to spend $100.00 or more at each penny machine even mixing up the bet to max bet at 15 different machines in one evening and never breaking even per machine, not winning even 1/2 by total play and walking away with nothing on all 15 machines loosing $1,500.00 two weeks in a row and hundreds and hundreds of dollars prior to and after. Sure, gambling is a risk but the odds are not possible to be that unlucky. So some of you may say they can not control your machine while playing because of the random number generator. To prove my point ask your self how is it that the slots used for slot tournaments do not give you reward points and the top 5 to 7 people who win have been old players that can barely tap the play button fast enough to compete yet the winning rigged machine has the most balloons and bonuses available than other machines for other tournament players? I am a witness several times over. In addition at Red Hawk casino they announced in the overhead that there will be random jackpots and sure enough three ladies side by side on the same machine game all hit Jackpots one after another. Call that random or controlled by the casino techs while actively playing? TV commercials showing the 777 jackpot on a casino movie or commercial, random or controlled? Using your casino players card allows the casino to know your spending and play habits to make more money off of you. Your reward is pennies on the dollar. Use the same ticket over and over, same thing all recorded and your habits are used to play you on each machine the ticket is used at.

In March, I bought tickets for my wife, I and another couple to see comedian Amy Schumer. I then went to reserve rooms for us and was told that room reservations are not available more than 60 days in advance. So, I marked the date in my calendar and called back in early August. We were in total shock that Cache Creek could then say the beginning room rate was $1,100 each. This was extortion in our minds. Fortunately, Cache Creek responded to my angry email and refunded our money for both the tickets and fees.

So my fiancée and I wanted to find a casino closer to home than Tahoe/Reno areas to build up some credits for perks and rooms. We like to go gaming about once a month or so for fun. First of all, I love that it takes me less than two hours to get here from home. And secondly, the casino is really nice looking inside. Also the slot machines aren’t too tight and certain areas are looser than others. The table games are fine , but there are some crusty players you want to avoid unfortunately. I really like the food options and enjoyed what we ate. I wish they served drinks on the floor but the middle bar is pretty good at serving you if it isn’t super busy. We have been back twice now and will be headed back tomorrow for the night. The people that work there are ok - so far so good.

Beware this place is terrible the security is ridiculous and unprofessional. We called and let them know that we will be bringing our service dog and they told us it was fine.We went there Saturday night went through security were treated very nicely with our pet and then harassed the next day and kicked out. Hands-down the worst customer service I have ever seen and I work in hospitality beware stay away from this place. Not only do the dealers change out every time you are winning Lots of money. Restaurants are really good pool is nice but the management staff put a bad taste in my mouth I will never return there again. I can’t believe that we stayed there for one night and then they had the audacity to kick us out with my eight-year-old son while we were walking to the pool because of our dog that was a service animal and harassed us about how it’s a service animal for two hours after that. They proceeded to tell me that I was 86 from the casino and that my boyfriend could go back and then they had the audacity to kick him out after he’s gone back in multiple times very unprofessional childish security staff.

We arrived during COVID 19 and felt very safe. We stayed 2 nights. We had a patio room, which was lovely. We played golf one day abd it was too hot to finish. The pro shop was very accommodating and gave us a credit fir 9 holes each on a gift card, which could be used for merchandise as well as golf and has no expiration date.
Staff was very friendly everywhere, the hotel and golf course.
We ate in the Chinese restaurant the first night and it was superb. The second night we went to C2 and walked out. I will review that separately.
We will definitely go back in the fall.
