Q:
Do they have buffets if so how many ? What is the average cost for buffet Salads? Veggies? No fast food ideas Thanks
A:
I can't remember the name but they do have one buffet style restaurant. It is usually not too busy. The last time I was there I had prime rib with salad and dessert. The price was reasonable. There is also a small cafe on the opposite side that… more

Do they sell menthol cigarettes in the gift shop?
A:
Yes, they do. I would go up every few weeks to get a carton and they've always had them. You can call as well, that's a question they can actually answer😊

My parents have been coming to cache creek for years and this was my second time tagging along. Overall our experience was great, we stayed in a room in the south tower and it was really nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was HUGE.
We did have one hiccup, during our two day stay, at the Chinese restaurant that is in the Casino. We had a party of 6 and none of us were served our food at the same time during our dinner. Each plate came out 10-20 minutes apart and our cocktails didn't arrive until halfway through the meal. Some of the food was even cold when it got to the table. The appetizers that were ordered also came to the table after some of the entrees. We spoke with the manager and he was not very apologetic for the poor experience, he did make excuses rather than apologizing. He did comp some of the food for the inconvenience though which was appreciated.
The casino and hotel are clean and well kept and most of the staff was very friendly. Overall the stay was enjoyed, hopefully we will be back soon to try some other amenities such as the spa and golf course!Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 2 - Eric M.American Canyon, CA195293268Mar 6, 2024
I usually enjoy coming to this casino. It is clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. the restaunts and bar areas are welcoming. I have been here often and enjoyed my visits.
this trip was horrible, though. I travel with a service dog and have never had any problems here.
This time was very different. Walking in, a security gound called us over and inquired if my dog was a service dog. No big deal. This is common due to the people with fake animals. She is a professionally trained animal from a center approved by the veterans administration.
He asked if she was a service dog. Yes, she is a service dog trained for me. Then he asked what disability I have that she is needed for. I told him she is task trained for me and fully professionally trained to perform tasks for me. he asked again what disability she was for.
I do not feel comfortable discussing my medical issues with him. He told me it's federal law,he can ask those two questions, and We Can
not come in unless Itell him what disability She's trained for.
I told him he could ask if she was a service dog, and she was trained for specific tasks for me.
He insisted that I must tell him what disability she is traind for then called for backup. Really? The man who came said he was the supervisor. He also said he needs to know what disability she was trained for. He, too, called for backup. Soon, we were circled by men in suits. I told them she was my service dog and was specifically trained to perform tasks for me. I don't want to tell my medical history to them. Mind you, she is a yellow lab with a professional vest showing the training center, service dog, and veteran team.
We argued for a bit, and they got a bit intimidating. At one point, one of them lunged at my wife and tried to snatch her phone say8ng are you recording us?" Put the phone away. My wife was only holding her phone in her hand like everyone does. He made her show him that there was no recording, infact the screen was not even activated.
Then one of them actually asked what my goal was for this incident. I said I wish to enter this establishment, have lunch, and gamble some.
He then asked why did you call us? Uh.... I did not and do not want to speak to any of you, I just want to enter the casino without being harassed. Well, tell us what your disability is, and you can come in. An elderly lady on a scooter actually went by with a little dog in a dress on her lapwh8le this was going on.
My wife, out of fustration, said she is trained for mobility. Then they asked to explain how that helps my disability.
The people who buy vests on Amazon so they can bring pets with them make life hard for those of us who have an actual medical need. They were very invasive.
They kept questioning us. I told them, "you have gotten your answers. I am not going to or need to explain my conditioning further. I tire of this. I am going to come in and go have lunch at one of the restaurants. Are you going to restrict or retain me? If not, please step aside. They did, and we headed to lunch.
Afterward, we gambled a bit. I noticed one of the suit guys was following us around. Feeling very 'criminal' this was not an enjoyable time. Lunch was awesome, though.
I found it hard to believe a place we have frequented before with no issues in the past would would treat someone with a service animal like this. At the same time, it allows people to bring pets in. Very upsetting. I saw 3 pets inside the casino. None were service animals.
I really like it there but now we feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I really hope someone from Cache Creek sees this and improves their security tough guy attitudes. Especially following us around. We did nothing to cause this attention. We were just walking inside. We were dressed appropriately a d with excited smiles. Yep. Scratch that. Ruined day, and now I do t feel comfortable going back to one of my favorite places.

Unfortunately not much has changed. Or rather it's changed for the worst. The rooms are decent they have the old and new side of the hotel... which they call north and south. The old has bathtubs and the new only showers that I've seen. Bummer, especially since you have to walk 4x as far for everything from the new.
If you're staying and have some spa services, might want to ask for the old side of the hotel so you're not walking through the whole casino in your robe etc.
Lost my necklace in the robe and within minutes they wouldn't let me back in and never called to return my list item either. Needless to say customer service still lacking.
Casino seems a bit larger than before or more games crammed in. Absolutely no winning atmosphere. Didn't here any bells and whistles, saw no bonuses, no hand pays nothing. Guess they no longer claim to be the loosest slots.. more like tightest in California.
Seems to be more food variety too, but some of the old stomps are still around that shouldn't be. Looking forward to the day they revamp the food.
Spa experience is great for the ladies with hot tub, cold plunge, steam and dry sauna.. unfortunate that some people are there to gab and yell over the hot tub jets which they fail to police even when complaints received.
I'd say try your luck elsewhere all around.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 2Jul 10, 2016Previous reviewUnfortunately I have given Cache Creek multiple chances and they fail every time. No matter the amount of money you drop here it seems to be just luck of the draw on whether or not you get perks along with your play and those are quite few and far between as it is at this casino.
After having dropped a significant amount of money (which, of course, is quite subjective) you would expect to get deals fairly often as they would want you coming back to their casino rather than funneling that money to another location. However, Cache Creek literally does not care.
I updated my address to make sure mailers were actually being received and when doing so asked the representative if it was early enough to receive the next months offers. I was told it was. I still did not receive anything so I finally signed up & in online via their Cache Club that the constantly badger you about. Seeing my promotions, I decided to call and utilize my free room. Gave a few date options and then I was told that they have absolutely no bookings due to construction and renovations... why the agent didn't just lead with that is quite horrifically beyond me! What is the point of stringing a patron along??
So then I asked due to their own construction and such, which no patron has any control over... whether they were offering a future deal. Being that I earned the promotion by spending my hard-earned money.. I was told no. That they mail out more mailers then there are actual rooms on a regular basis, so this is standard practice whether there is construction or not! Unbelievable... so because of their mistake, I lose. Not a good slogan for any casino.
In addition to that, in all the years I have been making stops in this casino. I have literally only ever seen 2 winners being cashed out.. EVER. So the chance of winning here is quite low.
Needless to say, I will be taking my money, referrals, friends, etc elsewhere. You would be wise to do the same.
I do want to note that the rooms themselves are nice, like the arctic when you first arrive, but once you find the gauge it's easily adjustable. Room service menu is small and the breakfast menu you can hang on the door is tiny at best.. but if you call and speak to the kitchen directly you will find their menu to be a lot larger then advertised.. not sure why they would hide such things. Gratuity is already included so need to to carry extra cash either! - Apr 28, 2024
Went there Friday night, bed was comfy, room was very clean, bathroom was pretty big with a nice shower. Went to the north side area pool which it said online had a full open bar... dissapointed because it was closed!! The pool was nice, heated and clean.

Always stellar service when I have come to Cache Creek. Love that the bathrooms, all of them are always clean and well stocked. Lots of food options in the casino, from snacks to sit down in a range of different types of cuisine. There is plenty of parking. Depends on when and what day you come that it can get very crowded but typically there are plenty of slot machines to choose from. They have a lot of promotions weekly and you can use points for dollars off your purchase. The hotel rooms are super comfortable, roomy and super clean. The beds and pillows are delightful and you can count on a good nights sleep. I have always stayed in the South Tower rooms which are the newer ones. Especially during the busy season, it's better to call ahead and make your reservation. Check in is at 4 pm and check out is at 11 am.
If you come during the holiday season, the decor is soooooo fabulous. Love, love, love everything about the decorations. They said that this year they used an outside company that decorated. They did a stellar job making it look festive. Everywhere you looked there was decor that looked so luxurious. Such a nice touch.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mister J.Milpitas, CA93356Apr 16, 2024Updated review
Finally had a good visit. Make that a great visit. Actually came out a total of 4700 ahead.
Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0May 9, 2009Previous reviewBuddy was bored and said lets go to Cache Creek for lunch (LOL).
2 hour drive there, 2 hour drive back. One hour eating at Harvest Buffet, hour and half sitting in front of slot machines. Left home with 200 bucks came home with over 600. Me Likey.Oct 11, 2008Previous reviewAbout 2 hours away from the southbay so not too close or too far to visit. It's way out in the boonies surrounded by farmland and the last 15 minutes of driving is pretty nice but you have to drive slow at times through a residential area. Once in awhile I see cop cars hiding behind large trees and bushes. Friday and Saturday nite is pretty crowded so I would avoid those times.
They have plenty of card tables with many chinese games for those asian players. They have lots of penny ,two cent, nickle , and dime machines. Those are mostly taken if you go on a busy day. Quarter machines are harder to find than before. I try to avoid dollar machines. They have a slot machine area for those who like to bet more(10 and 20 dollar machines)
Place is clean and well kept and the clientel is much better than the people who visit San Pablo's casino.
They have a few eateries there that are pretty good with Harvest Buffet my favorite.
They have celebrity entertainment and rooms available but I haven't seen or used them yet.
Favorite moment here was I won 1500.00 on a quarter machine as I was about to leave. Trying to repeat that experience. LOL - MaryAnne S.Daly City, CA1388Apr 10, 2024

I've been coming here for years but the recent treatment that they gave me and my husband was unacceptable and we won't be coming back. They will try to cheat you out of your money, and payout on the tables. I've seen it happen many times. They're rude and nonchalant and don't care about people or how they treat them. I'd recommend any other casino but this one. Very disappointed
