Adam B A really solid found footage horror movie (or rather found footage, within a movie, within a documentary, within a movie). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Karina P This was a pretty good movie, the ending was a bit lacking though. As a Maryland native, I can appreciate it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Logan L I watch a lot of horror movies and am generally disappointed by almost all of them. This was not one of those movies! Kind of a strange premise for the object of terror, in my opinion, but it was extremely well done, with a final scene that's guaranteed to make you sharply inhale through your teeth. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/24 Full Review Sal M I made an account just to review this movie, when it comes to what sets the precedent for a found footage film, this is it. The balance between the story of the found footage and the actually film itself and then combining it was great. It def wasn't a terrifying horror movie, but I will say I was uneasy and anxious the whole Film. And there were def a few jump scares that got me. Overall 8.8/10. I def recommend watching and is now one of my fav found footage films. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Shane J Absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review John H This is a decent movie with an interesting premise. It's not all that scary, but kept me interested. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com It's a fascinating look at how a filmmaker can become so obsessed with something, it destroys his life. Oct 28, 2020 Full Review Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene Butterfly Kisses is a great tool for teaching about genre mechanics, and also about balancing your insights with properly calibrated scares. Sep 9, 2021 Full Review Michelle Swope Nightmarish Conjurings Butterfly Kisses feels like a familiar story, but it is told in such a disturbingly unique way that it is definitely worth checking out. Nov 5, 2019 Full Review Nick Rocco Scalia Film Threat As thoughtful and original as Butterfly Kisses is, it's fair to question who, exactly, the film is really for. It's the kind of thing that's bound to play like gangbusters at film festivals... Rated: 7.5/10 Jan 8, 2019 Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst If you think the subgenre is done and finished, Butterfly Kisses might change your mind as it's head and shoulders above the rest.
