Very convenient! I had used these before and then after years of use mine broke. I could not find a replacement. So I went on to use the pre-threaded floss holders but they are very expensive to use. With the Butler Floss Mate handle you can thread the floss yourself and very easily floss all of your teeth without having to have your fingers in your mouth. I reuse the floss for a few days but I do rinse well in hot water and let dry for tomorrow. This saves a lot of money for us not having to purchase pre-threaded floss holders.
This tool makes flossing so much easier than anything else I have used. Am always disappointed to have the wrapping button pop off. Guess it is glued rather than being part of the floss mate.
For people who hate to floss this is the best flosser on the market! My dentist gave me one of these 15 years ago, and I still have it, and more importantly USE it. It easily fits in your mouth and enables you to reach between all your teeth. You won't think it is a chore to floss anymore. I have purchased several products over the years (trying to find one similar to mine) so my son would floss. NONE of them even came close.
I thought I was going to save a bunch of floss by using these. They are all right, but I use about the same amount of floss, and they don't make it any easier to floss. I don't use them anymore.
It's hard to understand why I can't find this product locally. It works so much better than trying to floss your teeth using your hands. It's easier on the environment, unlike those little single-use disposable land fill clogging plastic holders with a tiny bit of string attached. It lasts and lasts. Just need to buy some floss and your good to go. Eventually, they break, but not before you've used them so many times every day. This product makes it possible for me to floss, and that is the best.
I purchased the Floss Mate Handle 4-pack. Less than 4 months later I am now on number three. The small button that the floss is wrapped around separates from the handle rendering the handle useless. Very disappointed...
If your teeth are tight packed/close together the floss slips off this holder. Works great on my wider front teeth, but is difficult on tight back teetk.
These are impossible to find in stores, and my husband was lost when his broke until I found these. Because he has large fingers that have "wear and tear", he cannot wind floss around them. These work much better that the little dinky disposable ones.
