Very classic seafood with contemporary style food, decor & service. High quality food & drink, wait staff & bar staff & sommeliers. Unpretentious. Upscale. Perfect for Friends, Family & Business occasions. Large enough to often get a table..which NYC'ers value tremendously. A gem. We go all the time.

This was our second time visiting and both my husband and I agreed it needs to be in our rotation. The service is unparalleled (hard to find lately in NYC restaurants), the food was spectacular, and the restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a drink at the bar.

We eat there often with family and friends and they are all very so nice , service is top notch and food they have it down Always in our rotation to eat Definitely have the Madai Red Snapper

Great food, albeit very small appetizer portions at a price. Service was excellent except we had to remind our waitress to tell us what the specials were. A fantastic restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Otherwise, more tailored to the expense account crowd.

This is one of Manhattan’s hidden jewels. The service is on par with restaurants that claim two - three months wait for a reservation. If you are trying to have a dinner, or special occasion, or anything in between, this is the place. It will not only be beyond your expectations, it will take your whole culinary experience to a new level.

Great new restaurant near Union Square. Food, cocktails and service are all excellent. My go-to cocktail is the Superman, which is pretty much their variation of the Old-Fashioned that comes in an awesome cocktail glass. Given it's a seafood restaurant, I typically go for the lobster roll, which is probably the best I've ever had and has more lobster than most. At other restaurants, it almost feels like the lobster roll is bread and veggies, but not the case here. High ceilings, spacious, dimly lit, upscale atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

So much potential—but fell short. The restaurant itself is beautiful but service was disappointing. The waiter we started with was unable to be with us the entire time as they had too many tables assigned to them and was unable to give us the attention required. Those who stepped in to fill in the gaps were not as good. Significant time in between drinks and dishes and the food itself was underwhelming considering how expensive it was. It was just okay but not good enough to return.

The service, food and experience were excellent as usual. I usually try to eat here for business at least once or twice a month. It is one of my top spots in NYC and the service is nothing short of spectacular. Appreciate the entire team for the consistent quality of food and service.

The space and ambience were wonderful. In general, the service was excellent, but our waiter had a rather loud conversation with a neighboring table which went on for too long. The Norwegian, langostine entrée, a special for the day, was too expensive.

This was a perfect restaurant experience! I had the gem Caesar salad. Not overdressed as in some restaurants. Crisp and delicious. My sister and I shared the branzino and whipped potatoes The fish was done just right and potatoes were memorable. I definitely recommend.

great place for a splurge. beautiful room, excellent service, excellent cocktails. Sushi is great but expensive. entrees were less interesting. the halibut entree was uninteresting. truffle fries were not hot. the grilled fish is very expensive so did not try.

This was our favorite restaurant. However, we did not have outstanding food last night. The tuna sushi and special roll were average- not much flavor. The cod was good, the halibut was served with a vinegary combination that overpowered the lovely fish. Short ribs were flavorful along with the lamb pasta. There was no wow factor. Pretty above average but not excellent.

For a seafood place, the short ribs were incredible! The waiter forgot our edemame appetizer but truthfully they give you a lot of food so probably for the best.

This is the BEST fish restaurant in the city! We have been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. We love to start with the whole sashimi fish in olive oil and sea salt...delicious! And we end with a whole bronzino grilled and also amazing!!! And lots of different stuff in between...

We always love going to Oceans for the food. Must have is the wild mushroom soup and the complimentary fresh bread with the perfect amount of salt, with butter and olive oil on the side is mouthwatering! Service at the bar is spotty but the table service is impeccable and everyone including the manager aim to please! We had Mo this evening again and he always makes it a pleasure.
