What is Taste of the Wild dog food?

Taste of the Wild dog food offers high-quality meals based on each pet’s natural diet. All formulas are made with real meat, including wild boar, smoked salmon, roasted duck and venison, to create a tastier and heartier bowl of food for puppies and dogs. In addition to natural ingredients, formulas include probiotics and are free of all artificial colors, preservatives and flavors.

For a more simpler, Taste of the Wild also offers a PREY formula that has minimal ingredients. Other pet food product lines include:

  • Taste of the Wild puppy food
  • Taste of the Wild cat food - dry
  • Taste of the Wild cat food - wet
  • Grain-free
  • Senior formula
  • Pregnant or nursing blend

How does Taste of the Wild work?

Taste of the Wild dog food is designed to give pets a better food option inspired by the protein sources animals are meant to eat, meaning ones they ate when they were wild. The goal is to provide the vitality that nature intended.

Taste of the Wild sources all ingredients from high-quality vendors that share the same purpose and mission to provide ingredients without fillers, preservatives or artificial flavors. All meats are USDA-inspected and -approved and certified antibiotic free.

Customers can choose from a wide variety of flavors, formulas and types of pet food with Taste of the Wild. Because the benefits are similar across the formulas, most people choose based on which meat product their pet prefers.

Taste of the Wild prices

We were recently adopted by 2 barn cats. So we needed a high quality food that was not as expensive as what our old cat needs. Both of our spoiled indoor cats and both of our new outdoor cats love it. They all are doing well on it. Thanks! We even tried a store brand that said it was almost the same. But it gave our old cat problems.

Been feeding my cats Taste of the Wild for years. My 19yr finicky boy loves it. My feral mamma and her two 9 month olds all are fans. There is so much energy as they romp and play. Shinny coats. Just the picture of great health. Thank you for keeping up the quality!

My dog Honey had a real problem with yeast infections. Constantly scratching, chewing her back and licking her paws. She also smelled like Fritos, which is one of the signs of a yeast infection. The owner of Health Mutt, my local pet food store recommended Taste of the Wild, because it has no grain and grain in pet food causes yeast infections. Honey is now a happy dog, and she loves the food! I would recommend it to anyone!

Using the canine puppy blend for my dogs until they are 18mos keeps them happy and healthy. Coats are soft, belly aches aren't a problem and their digestive schedule shows they are absorbing majority of it compared to wasting it. Cats are the same way. I use all ages with the feline and they devour it, clean themselves and love me so it must be good!!

Trust your dog's taste buds to Taste of the Wild, where quality meets flavor! My dog Dyson absolutely loves Taste of the Wild Ancient Stream. From the moment I opened the bag, I could tell that this was a premium dog food. The aroma alone was enough to get Dyson's tail wagging with excitement. The smoked salmon flavor is also a huge hit with Dyson, and I love that it's made with real, whole ingredients that I can trust. I add their canned dog food to his meals once a week which gives him a little flavor variety which he is always excited for.

Another great thing about Taste of the Wild Ancient Stream is that it's designed to be easily digestible, which means that Dyson can enjoy his meal without any stomach issues or discomfort. Plus, the added vitamins and minerals help to support his overall health and wellness. Dyson still behaves like an active rambunctious puppy and he just turned 8. Overall, I would highly recommend Taste of the Wild to any dog owner looking for a premium dog food that their furry friend will love. Dyson can't get enough of it, and I'm confident that your dog will feel the same way too!

I was surprised to see that my dog loved a reasonably priced dog food of such quality. I did notice a renewed zip in his step, and his fur looks fuller and has a wonderful gloss. I like the way it looks and smells also.

This is the best food I ever bought... my cats prefer this brand over Blue Buffalo and Science Diet. I love the ingredients and the first ingredient is never a by-product of any type. I would totally recommend this to all animal lovers.

I’ve been using Taste of the Wild for years. My last 2 dogs loved it! And never had any GI issues with it. My current dog is a rescue, he came on another quality food. But, always seemed to have softer than normal stools. I switched him to Taste of the Wild, and his GI issue is gone! He loves all 4 of his he ancient grains formulas, & also the canned food, of which he gets a spoonful mixed in with the kibble.
