Murder-suicide leaves two women dead and one injured in Weirton: ongoing investigation

Two women were pronounced dead at a Terrace Heights home early Saturday morning, following a shooting investigation. A third female victim was found injured by gunshot wounds.

Weirton Police Department found Jordan Bettino, 25, and Zoe Antoniou, 26, deceased by gunshot at 249 Miami Avenue. The third female victim, Desiree McDiffitt, 30, was transported to the hospital by ambulance with gunshot wounds.

The suspect of the shootings, Brennan Bailey, 33, was also found deceased inside the home, due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers were dispatched around 12:20 a.m. Saturday.

Weirton Police Department was assisted by the West Virginia State Police, Hancock County Sheriff's Department, Weirton Fire Department, and the Hancock County Ambulance Service.

The investigation is being treated as a murder/suicide and still ongoing by Weirton officials.
