I noticed the Brendan bit as well, might be interesting.
I lost a lot of interest in the programme this season because of the whole Chris Hollins thing I'll lose even more if Brendan leaves
I am gutted too - especially as I didn't find out until 22nd as I was away from home until then.
Guess what - I've just won tickets for 2 to see this show in Edinburgh on the 6th June!! Can hardly believe it and have already arranged travel and a meal!
Sure you will enjoy the show as it is FAB U LOUS! May see you there - I am in the front row in Edinburgh - I will be the one screaming loudest!

His show definitely one of the best of the shows featuring the strictly pros. I saw Anton & Erin's show a couple of years back - they used all amateur dancers and I have to say they danced a darn site better than A&E!!
I really hope Brendan is back on the show this year - strictly will be dull without him!
Strictly Ballroom (?) tour.
I've finally got a ticket to see Brendan's show in Oxford on Friday and having seen both A&E's show and Darren & Lilia's, I'm looking forward to this one.
A&E's first show - not the one they are doing now - used amateur dancers
Oh OK. I thought you meant the one they did last year. I didn't know they did one before that.:)
No, the one I saw was a good few years ago. A&E finished with a Viennese waltz which was frankly well below standard.
My personal favourites I think are "Purple Rain" which is a rumba where Brendan has two female partners..
and
the Viennese Waltz which is stunning with beautiful pink lights to match Isabella's pink dress.
The whole show is so warm, full of enthusiasm, spectacular dancing and wonderful live music. Nothing beats Ballroom with a live Swing Band!
Awesome combination that makes a truly incredible show!
I am sure Leeds Grand will be back to normal as it sounds old school. Just have to find someone who is available to travel down on Wednesday and back on Thursday as everyone I know up here seems to be working! Four hours drive down in the car is nothing if Brendan is at the end of it! Anyone else going to Leeds as I may end up going solo?
I didn't notice a silhouette on a curtain at either the Sage or Newcastle City Hall. They were both concert halls so maybe they had nowhere either. Either way... I lovvvvvvvvvvvvved the Purple Rain number. I'm still on a high from Tuesday night. Would so love to come to Leeds on Wednesday but really can't miss work again:( Trust me... I'm considering it!
I am at the moment trying to sort things out for Wednesday and discovering it is much cheaper to drive, flights nearly £400, trains about same as petrol but take 30mins longer???? And would have to take night off work too!!! Still not given up hope..................

Hopefully it will remain me of all the things I like about strictly after this week
Did you have a good time?
I also was impressed with Nicole's dancing. I don't think it showed on Strictly. She really was outstanding in the show.
Last show in Leeds tomorrow.. wish I could go!
I also have a serious crick in my neck from last night at the Strictly Pro's in Edinburgh. Had to stretch up to see the footwork on stage! Off to take some more pain killers and cry into my pillow that I won't make the final night! There is always next time?
It was amazing.
Great show really impressive.
I always liked Nicole in the pro dances on strictly but Strictly didn't show her talent thought she was truly outstanding especially the Jive.
In fact I hate to say this but Nicole would have been a perfect for the dance group in the way that when she dances with the right partner it is unbelievable but she couldn't really translate that into teaching a celeb - maybe she just didn't get the right partner.
All the dancers were amazing totally impressive loved the atmosphere and the obvious friendship between all the dancers. Brendan's brother Scott is very funny and a good dancer - have to admit not as good as Brendan though.
There was no purple curtain in Belfast for Purple Rain just a purple spotlight
Did anyone else think Isabella looks like Natalie Lowe??
Annoyed I didn't take a camera thought you wouldn't be allowed but saw some people taking picture though I did see some security guards telling people to stop
