From the outside, can’t help but feel Cahn was pushed out. The women’s coaching change was also not a roaring success, to date at least.

Pushed out from a job which wasn’t the one he signed up for right now anyway. I always got the impression they were looking to replicate what Monty did in our academy bringing up a young group and graduating to the first team with them. Weeks later he’s in the hot seat and under pressure. Absolute stitch up.

They basically gave him an ultimatum after they let Trani go saying “now or never”.

Ben would have ideally preferred come in at the end of the season, cleaned house and built his own team who complemented his style of football.

Kaz and Zac threw him under the bus massively.

Clubs fucked.

I hear the most toxic things about management at Brisbane. Especially how they treat the women’s team.

not going to lie, have heard the same about Mariners too 👀

Women’s having to train at a school whilst the men’s get to train at the CoE.

Really keen to hear about this four year plan.

There's been big ups and downs this season, I really just want our ship steadied.

We will never know what happened with Ben Cahn but I'm actually pleased with Ruben so far.

Hopefully in the off season we can translate some of the progress on our boring backend into some progress on the field.

I think there's definitely players we need to release and source replacements for, but we have some real gems in the squad.

Jelacic, Hore and Caletti have fought tooth and nail every minute they're on the pitch. We are still just lacking that class up front to make the best of the opportunities they are creating.

Mental to me that Caletti went from being a complete liability in the midfield when he played for us to now being one of the few highlights for the Roar.

That stint in Japan must have done him some good

Crazy considering he was plying like 5th division over there

Between Wadders and Hore, they are creating more than enough chances but we need that senior player up there with them. Someone that can finish and someone that we can rely on every week when our younger ones aren't having their best day.

Aldred also needs to go unfortunately. We have one of the worst defences this season and so many of the goals come from him. Problem is we need a reliable senior player back there, Brown and Hingert both having pretty decent seasons but we probably don't have long left with them and injuries are quite reliable for them at the moment.

We have some great players on the team who have really proven their worth this season but Zads needs to do a proper clean out

I hear Ibisuki might be on the market. Allegebly.

Wouldn’t be the worst person to have on the end of some O’Shea deliveries.

Are you actually willing to wait another four years?

Still not convinced with zads at all. Seems like a total cockhead

I didn't like having him as Perth coach, regardless of whether he's a good coach it's just not very fun to have a guy heading up your team who seems like a huge knob.

oh how about that.

We were right all along. Ben is fine.

Zadko = cheapest option Even Zdrilic realised he was better off staying at SFC as second fiddle

I wonder where Roar will play next season I think it's all but certain there won't be as many games at Suncorp next season

u/Meapa avatar

They've already confirmed Suncorp for the men and Perry Park for the women

u/WelNix2007 avatar

You might be able to get through next season BUT with Suncorp being approved for more concerts it's only a matter of time until you get pushed out.

u/Meapa avatar

The concerts won't push the Roar out

u/WelNix2007 avatar

Depends on if you're talking Full Time or Part Time.

Full Time: Yes, you will get pushed out.

Part Time: May be possible to stay.
