Brad Pitt and George Clooney are reveling in time spent together on their upcoming movie.

The pals will share the screen again in the upcoming movie Wolfs, which they've been spotted filming in New York City and elsewhere.

Previously, Pitt, 60, and Clooney, 62, costarred in 2008's Burn After Reading, 2002's Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, plus three Ocean's movies from 2001 to 2007.

"Brad and George are forever friends," a source tells PEOPLE. "They like and respect each other no matter how many years in between gigs together. They go way back, and were happy to work together on this film."

Written and directed by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming), the Apple Studios thriller Wolfs also stars Amy Ryan and is about two fixers forced to work together on the same assignment.

Wolfs was a meaty project and both took a real interest in it,” says the source of the two Oscar winners. "They are excited about the film, and enjoying the hell out of it as time leads up to the release."

In December, Clooney talked to Entertainment Tonight about re-teaming with Pitt, joking that he was excited to work with "an up and comer."

When asked about collaborating together on another project, Clooney joked to PEOPLE back in October 2021 that "Brad was obviously the cheapest of the actors available."

"He's a friend of mine and we have a really good time together," he added. "I'm really looking forward to it."
