Get the steak sampler and espresso martini. Out of this world. Go when they first open for best seating.

      Steak sampler.

We loved it! Jared W was our waiter and he was the best!
We had a tough time making reservations so we decided to try and show up. The hostess got us in and she did her best considering they were booked and insanely busy! The wait staff was impeccable and so attentive but they do not make you uncomfortable at all! Even with the higher end prices and atmosphere they make you feel so comfortable and cared for. Jared topped off our evening! I felt like we could have sat with him and chatted for hours yet he kept his professionalism! What a delight! Cannot wait to visit again! Highly recommend

Met with friends, 5 of us in our group. Love the ambiance . Seating areas downstairs and we got the best corner sitting area upstairs rooftop patio with the view of the city lights, gorgeous at night, paring with SD weather, perfect. Bar upstairs as well . Servers upstairs were in Tux, our server was very funny, helpful, attentive and patient . Food- dirty hash brown, mac and cheese , roasted mushrooms, Wagyu sampler ( the best), burgundy snails . And the best one of them all is the chef's choice and of course , lobsters ( best lobster EVER , it melts in your mouth , lobster meat was tender and sweet , it was PERFECT) Service was AMAZING.
Definitely a MUST to visit , reservation is highly recommended. Thank you chef ‍.

      Definitely coming back here.
      Highly recommended.

Parking : it's very challenging. But there a few small scattered ace parking spaces if you drive further out. There's also street parking and valet option.
Bathroom : clean , well kempt.

Don't come here for the food. Come here for the decor and ambience as it is gorgeous

Ordered beef Wellington, uni pasta, escargot and haricot verts

Poor quality beef Wellington. Rare blue meat, mushroom pate was tasteless, pastry wrap was dry. Uni Pasta and escargot very average

On the bright side, the interior design and service was exceptional. Great place for drinks and vibe

      Updated review

Had a great experience for my birthday dinner. They have upstairs where it's slightly a rooftop bar, and downstairs most of the tables are connected with other people you may dine with.
The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the steak sampler which gives you four different types of steak at 3 ounces. Each meat was very rich and tender. I wouldn't recommend ordering the Caesar salad because it's not a lot and it comes up with a bunch of leaves not pre cut and it's pretty expensive like $24, but we split the salad.
Espresso martini had a rich, espresso flavor and a nice cloud of cream on top. Although I asked for a green tea shot on the rocks and it didn't taste very well with the whiskey they chose, and I didn't get it with the rocks. The cheesecake was also pretty creamy and blended very well with the Apple crust. Highly recommend to experience at least once at a fine dining restaurant. I'm glad I picked this one while I'm on vacation.

      Beautiful restaurant, romantic
Ambience, beautiful roof top dining on 2nd floor. $$$$ sign yes. The food...the bone marrow escargot was just ok. We had to send it back due to over salted. The beef tartare could use more seasoning. Table side Caesar salad was good. The broccolini as our side dish was perfectly cooked and tasted exceptional. The star of the show was our 20oz prime rib. This was cooked to perfection medium... and charred well seasoned. Definitely will return for the steak here. Service was wonderful, and it's perfect for date nights, birthdays or any occasion.

Love the place! Came here for a birthday dinner and it was so good we were back here 3 weeks later for Valentine's Day! Their bread and butter kicked us off and we already knew we were in good hands. Their Mac and cheese reminded us why we venture outside of Kraft and that we cannot replicate this at home.
We got the dry aged t-bone which had INCREDIBLE smoky flavor and classic rib eye. We will be back for more of their dry aged cuts! And then the beef Wellington...So so so tender! The staff are attentive and the ambience is so classy. It is definitely a place you can dress up!

It's difficult to dine here without reservations. We decided to try our luck at walk-in. We got lucky and they had bar seating available for us upstairs. Upstairs is an outdoor patio with beautiful views.

The food menu looked amazing but we didn't come here on an empty stomach so it didn't make sense to order steak. Although the hot and cold dish such as uni spaghetti and snails were calling my name!

Instead, I enjoyed a cocktail. My spirit of choice is tequila but none of the cocktails had that so my next choice would be gin. The French 75 has gin, lemon, grapefruit and wine. It's the wine that creeps up on you! Absolutely delicious craft cocktail that's refreshing, citrusy with a kick of sweet, sour and bitter.

Downstairs has modern vibe with a mix of old Vegas but upstairs is where you want to be! Especially in San Diego you get that perfect weather of indoor/outdoor feel. There's also a fire place. The mixologists dressed in tuxedo tops with shorts.

Will need to come back when we're craving for steaks!

I use to love this place but the last time I came I was greatly disappointed in their caviar service!! Hash browns instead of blinis or toast points?? Hash browns have such a heavy taste that u cannot taste the caviar even the slightest bit!!!
The Caesar salad was still good but the Mac and cheese was average. The filet I ordered was like any other steakhouse. Service was spotty

Went here on a double date. Very nice place. Super classy. The Caesar salad is made in front of you. It's so good. Only thing is we each had one wedge haha. The steak was super tender really good. Cocktails were really good too. The bread is warm and great. I heard they have a happy hour I will look into it. Thanks for your hospitality.
