Bonnie Erickson

Bonnie Jean Erickson, 76, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 21, 1936, in Plentywood, MT, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elma Tracy (Julson) Bradley. On February 11, 1956, she married Robert Millard Erickson at Zion Lutheran Church in Blair, WI. In 1959 they moved to Kenosha. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2011. Bonnie was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, puzzles and genealogy, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is survived by her four children, Vicki (George) Rezny of Three Lakes, WI, Debbie (Mark) Paul of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Cheryl (Albert Jr.) Achille of Erie, PA, and Jim (Dawn) Erickson of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Ryan Rezny, Crystal Rezny, Zachary (Christa) Paul, Stacy (fiancée, Jesse Maan) Paul, Samantha Achille, Anthony Achille, and Carlee Erickson; one great-grandchild, Sonny; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8th, at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, 2001-80th Street, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran School or Zilber Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
