All we did was stay at home, work from home, shop from home, and we even watched new releases from home, thanks to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, etc. In 2020, one thing we all missed was going to the movie theater and experience the lives of various movies.
But, in 2021, with the vaccine drive around the corner and decline in the number of Covid-19 cases, there is a sense of relief, and it seems like slowly, we will be back on track. Plus, the government has also reopened movie theaters, malls, and shopping complexes, etc. but with full precautions.
However, amid the pandemic, we know that you don’t want to risk your life by going out, but if you take full precautions, you can treat ourself to a movie by going to the theaters. Now, the problem is what to watch?
There are not many options right now. However, the cinema world has a list of movies lined up for the big-screen release. Therefore, sit back and decide what you want to watch in the upcoming months.

1. Satyameva Jayate 2:
After the success of Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham will again be seen as Virendra Rathod in Satyameva Jayate 2. The film is being directed by Milap Zewari and will be based on the fight against injustice and misuse of power.
John will share the screen with Divya Khosla Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee. The film is scheduled to be released on Eid, i.e., May 14, 2021.

2. Kaadan:
Rana Daggubati is all set to return on the big screen with a drama film titled Kaadan. The film is directed by Prabhu Solomon and was simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Rana will share the screen with Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Zoya Hussain.
The film's Telugu name is Aranya, and Hindi name is Haathi Mere Saathi. The film was initially scheduled to be out in April 2020, but amid covid-19, it was postponed. Now, the film is scheduled to be out on March 26, 2021.

Akshay will share the screen with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi. The filming process for Bell Bottom was finished in September 2020, and now, the film is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2021.

Kirti Sanon is all set to return on the big screen with a drama film titled Mimi in which she is playing a surrogate mother. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and is produced by Dinesh Vijan. It is a remake of a Marathi film titled Mala Aai Vhhaychy!.
Kirti will share the screen with Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak. The film was scheduled to be released in mid-2020 but was postponed amid Covid-19. Now, the film is expected to release in mid-2021.

Alia Bhatt is all set to hit the big screen with Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It will be a biographical film and will focus on Gangubai Kithewali.
Alia will share the screen with Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, and Seema Pahwa. The film will also have special cameos by Ajay Devgan, Imraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi. According to different sources, the film is expected to be released on Diwali.

Get ready, Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao Jr. are all set to hit the theater with the much anticipated period action drama film titled RRR. The film is directed by S.S. Rajamouli and is produced by DVV Danayya. The film will also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris.
The film will tell a fictional story about India's freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectivly. The film is scheuled to be released on October 10, 2021.

Shahid Kapoor is all set to return to the big screen with a sports drama film titled Jersey. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gil, Dil Raju, and is a remake of the 2019 Telugu film titled Jersey.
Shahid will share the screen with Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur. The fill is set to be released on Diwali, i.e., November 5, 2021.

8. Laal Singh Chaddha:

The film is an adaptation of the 1994 Forrest Gump. Aamir will be seen with Kareena Kapoor in Laal Singh Chaddha, along with Vijay Sethupathi.
Initially, the film was supposed to be released in December 2020, however, amid Covid-19, the film was postponed for a full year. Laal Singh Chaddha is now scheduled for release during Christmas 2021.

The film is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee and will be a trilogy. Ranbir will share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Initially, the film's title was rumored to be Dragon but was later confirmed as Brahmastra The title logo of the film was revealed on March 4, 2019, and on the same day, the ogo of the film Brahmstra was launched on Maha Shivratri at Kumb Mela. The film is expected to be released in 2021.

Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is produced by Aashirvad Cinema with Moonshot Entertainments and Confident Group as co-producers.
Mohanlal will share the screen with Arjun, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Siddique, Mukesh, and Nedumudi Venu. The film was originally scheduled to be released on March 2020, however, due to Covid-19, it was postponed. Now, it is expected that the film will be released in March 2021.

Sonam is all set to return to the big screen with an action-thriller the film titled Blind. The film is being directed by Shome Makhija and is produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar, and Manish W. Sonam will share the screen with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey.
The story is about a blind police officer who is in search of a serial killer. It is set in Scotland. The filming process of Blind started in December 2020 and the film is expected to be released by the end of 2021.

Ranveer Singh is all set to return to the big screen with the sports drama film titled 83. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and we will see Ranveer Singh, playing Kapil Dev, in the 1983 World Cup. Along with Deepika and Ranveer, the film will also have Tahir Raj Bhasin, Hardy Sandhu, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, etc.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released in April 2020, however, amid covid-19, 83 was postponed to December 2020. Later, in November, the film was again postponed to the first quarter of 2021.

13. Toofan:
Farhan Akhtar is all set to return on the big screen with a sports drama film titled Toofan. The film is being directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan himself is producing it. Farhan will be playing the role of a national-level boxer and will share the screen with Isha Talwar, Paresh Rawal, and Mrunal Thakur.
The filming process of Toofan began in August 2019, and was initially scheduled to be released in October 2020; however, amid Covid-19, the film was postponed. It is expected to be released in the first half of 2021.

The film was earlier supposed to release in September 2020, but due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the release date had to be postponed. Now, it is expected to be out in 2021.

15. Radhe:
Disha Patani is all set to return on the big screen with an action film titled Radhe. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and is produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri. Disha will share the screen with Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Megha Akash, and Randeep Hooda.
The film is said to be a remake of a South Korean hit Veteran. Radhe was slated to release in May 2020 but was postponed due to covid-19. Now, Radhe is expected to be released in 2021.

It has a budget of Rs. 100 crores, making it the most expensive Kannada film till now. It was initially scheduled to be out in October 2020, but amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the film was postponed. Now, the film is scheduled to be out this year.

The film is being shot in Hindi, Tamil and English. Madhavan will share the screen with Simran. The film is expected to be released in 2021.
