Just saw the Mark Wahlberg movie “Spencer”. Throughout the entire movie, I thought I that was watching Dave Chappelle play a dirt cop (spoiler alert!). I just figured the comedian was showcasing his serious acting talents in he way Adam Sandler had recently done in several movies.
Bokeem’s voice is hella low. That’s about the only difference.

I'm currently watching the 2012 reboot of Total Recall and I'm thinking ... is that Dave Chappelle? His voice is not Chappelles! So I had to look up the cast and that led me here of course.
I just watched Old Dads with my husband, and one of the parts that focused on Bokeem Woodbine's character was on I said "Dang he looks kinda different now." My husband asked who I was talking about and I said "ummm..😒..Dave Chappelle.." he immediately burst out laughing @me. I've ALWAYS been a huge Chappelle fan, so I was like omg 😳🫣😟🤦♀️😭😭 ... this thread has made me feel SOOOO much better 🤣😂
