in Ipswich was unveiled on 16 July 2002 outside Ipswich Town F.C.'s home stadium, Portman Road.

Sculpted by Ipswich Town fan Sean Hedges-Quinn, it was commissioned by the Ipswich Town Supporters' Association and funded by Ipswich Borough Council and electricity company TXU.

Robson was manager of the club from 1969 until 1982, during which time he won the 1973 Texaco Cup Final, the 1978 FA Cup Final and the 1981 UEFA Cup Final. He was honorary president of the club from 7 July 2006 until his death on 31 July 2009.

It stands outside the ground's Cobbold Stand (the east stand), on the other side of the actual Portman Road that runs alongside the stand, on the tree lined verge that separates the road from the New Portman Road Car Park. The statue depicts Robson pointing in the general direction of the stand.
