10 Who Is Bobby Lee?

Bobby Lee is a comedian/actor/podcaster who was born in California circa 1971. He rose to prominence after being cast on the Fox sketch comedy series MAD TV, where he debuted many famous and recurring characters before the series’ cancelation.

Lee moved on to be featured in various films throughout the years following the end of MAD TV. Out of everything Bobby Lee has been up to since MAD TV, his podcast TigerBelly is the most prominent project.

The popular podcast was co-created with Khalyla Kuhn, who Lee credits with changing his life.

9 Who Is Khalyla Kuhn?

Khalyla Kuhn was born in the Philippines in 1984. Her family moved to the US when she was still young, where she would eventually go on to attend college, majoring in biochemistry.

Kuhn eventually met and became romantically involved with Bobby Lee before the couple co-created and co-hosted the TigerBelly podcast.

8 Early On, Fans Found Khalyla’s Treatment Of Lee Off-Putting

In the early days of the TigerBelly podcast, fans of the show began to notice Khalyla’s treatment of Bobby was off-putting.

From Kuhn’s comments on TigerBelly about not finding Lee attractive to exposing Lee on various topics, fans of the show picked up on the subtle and not-so-subtle jabs thrown out by Khaylyla over the years.

To be fair, the barbs thrown out by Kuhn seemed to be comedic in nature, but many fans took issue with her comments nonetheless.

7 Lee’s Feelings Toward Kuhn Began To Change After Her Health Issues

On an episode of TigerBelly, after announcing to their audience that the pair had separated, Lee made it known at what point their relationship began to change.

Lee explained that years ago, while in The Philippines, after dealing with the onset of Kuhn’s medical condition, he felt more like her caretaker and not a lover.

Lee also mentioned that he began to fantasize about other women. This incident seemed to be the initial spark that would eventually lead to the end of their relationship. Lee even mentioned that the pair had attempted to salvage the relationship but to no avail.

6 Bobby And Khalyla’s Relationship Was Open For A While

On the TigerBelly podcast, both Lee and Kuhn have jokingly mentioned wanting to be with other people. However, it seems that there was a kernel of truth buried within the witty back and forth.

Bobby suggested that Kuhn see somebody else, as the romantic feelings on his end were no longer present. However, Lee mentioned that he still loved Khalyla and that she is his best friend.

5 The Brendan Schaub Incident May Have Been The Breaking Point

Before the trio became wrapped up in a feud, Lee, Kuhn, and Brendan Schaub were all friends, with Schaub appearing on the TigerBelly podcast in the past. That friendship ended, however, when the public found out that Schaub had made sexual advances toward both Kuhn and Kuhn’s Trash Tuesday co-host Annie Lederman.

This ignited the feud between Schaub and Kuhn, with Lee being brought along for the ride and experiencing a phone tirade dished out by both Schaub and Bryan Callen.

This, of course, did not do Schaub any favors as the comedian’s reputation in the comedy community hasn't been great of late, but the feud seems to have been the final nail in the Lee/Kuhn relationship coffin.

4 The Former Couple Made An Official Announcement On The TigerBelly Podcast

The official announcement of the Lee/Kuhn breakup came during TigerBelly episode 355. The former couple was clearly upset, with Khalyla wiping away tears and Bobby struggling to maintain composure as he informed the audience that he and his longtime partner were parting ways.

3 Rumors Began That Khalyla Was Unfaithful

Bobby has mentioned a lot of the problems in the relationship were his fault. However, there are rumors circling on Reddit and YouTube about Khaylyla being unfaithful.

Some fans, however, believe that the former couple was in an open relationship at that time, leaving everyone wondering which narrative is true.

2 Lee Stated That He Will Never See Anyone Romantically Again

During episode 355 of TigerBelly, Lee stated, “We’re good. We’re good. We’re not stopping. I’m never going to see anyone else in my life.”

Kuhn reacted to Lee’s statement by saying, “You don’t know that,” to which Lee responded, “No, I have no interest. I really have no interest, you know what I mean?”

And as of episode 381 in 2023, Bobby still got emotional while talking about his breakup from Khalyla—though fans are more than ready for the drama and "couples therapy" podcast sessions to be over with.

Given that they're still rehashing the split, it doesn't appear as if either of them are seeing anyone at the moment. Khayla's Instagram is full of travel photos and shots with friends, showcasing what appears to be an active social life.
