Juventus FC is the most famous and winning football company in Italy. Its history begins in Turin on November 1, 1897, when it was founded by a group of friends joined by the passion for football, the so special sport that has just been “imported” from England. In 1923 Juventus was bought by the Agnelli family, and today it is the only professional team that has maintained the same property for almost a century.
Built with a clever mix of exclusive images, interviews with the world’s most famous names, repertoire videos and unpublished materials from the private archives of the company, “Black and White Stripes: The Juventus Story” is the independent film produced by Marco and Mauro La Villa And Damien Mastroprimiano, through which the directors tell the club’s official history for the first time, a journey through the salient phases that helped build the dream of Juventus and the intimate and passionate story of the “love story” between The team and the Agnelli family: an indissoluble link to chase the legend.
Narrated by Academy Award Winner, F. Murray Abraham (Grand Budapest Hotel, Homeland), the film includes executive producers Academy Award Winner David Franzoni (Gladiator, Amistad), as well as special musical consulting by Academy Award Winner Ennio Morricone.
