My wife and I stopped there after golf at Shaftesbury Glen and we had an excellent meal! They had a Prime Rib special that my wife had and I had Scallops and a cup of their Clam Chowder! The food was excellent, the price was...good and Allison and Karen were fantastic servers! They made us feel very welcome and we will definitely go back there for sure!!More
Got the steak and shrimp and golden shrimp platters. They really hit the spot! Both steak and shrimp were super good and got to love those hush puppies. Cole slaw was ok. The curbside service was very helpful!
One of our go to places has been there for years food is always good. Oyster roast in season is wonderful. I got the whole flounder last week I could only eat one side it literally was lapping over the plate
I can not tell you how disappointed I was with this restaurant. I live near by and have driven by the restaurant hundreds of times and viewed the Tuesday night prime rib special on the marquee. Always cars in the parking lot, but very misleading...as most of the patrons are in Maxwell's, the bar attached to but behind Billy The Kids. A group of 7 from my neighborhood decided to visit. I should have noticed immediately upon entering that I would be disappointed. About 3 or 4 tables and they were eating Oysters. The prime rib may have been the worst prime rib I have ever had. It looked like they had sliced off a piece of beef and thrown it on a grill or under a broiler. It was tough, fatty and awful. My wife's was as bad or worse. There is no way they had a piece of beef slow cooking and then carved per order. When I saw the dining room was empty I should have left. This restaurant has been running a prime rib special for a long time. If it were any good, the place should have been packed with a waiting line,but it was empty. Maybe the seafood and other menu items are good. But the place was not busy. Service not good. An older atmosphere but nice enough, clean, etc. Live and learn!More
Waitress was fun, food was decent, though the wife’s chicken tenders were a little on the skimpy side, a whole 3 tenders. Also the orders came out missplated, one’s baked potato on another’s plate and none of the people who ordered fries with gravy got...their gravy. Clearly a poorer experience than the last time we were here.More
They have great entertainment and their prime rib Tuesday is excellent. drinks are reasonably priced and the only thing detrimental is there is smoking allowed inside. A fun place and remains open later than most of the others
We love the Oysters and the Hush Puppies and our service was very good. Will go back the next time we are in North Mrytle Beach.
From the outside not much to look at. Inside is a step back into a 1960’s restaurant. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Made some good suggestions on food. I had the fried chicken. Good, but slightly greasy. My wife’s meal was very good. Salad...bar is limited but good. Would certainly come back.More
Had a party of 12, everyone enjoyed their choices. The choices included the oyster roast, ribeye, ribs, hamburger steak, shrimp, fish, and the hush puppies were the best I have ever had. Have been many times in he last 30 years brings back good old memory’s and the food and service is great. Decode has not changed it is old west. They have a entertainment hall in the back totally separate except the hall and doorway to...it from the restaurant.More
