The four-time Golden Globe nominee - who turns 45 this Wednesday - was carrying an empty glass bottle as she bonded with the 67-year-old widow (born Early), whose husband Emilio passed in 2008.

The NY Times bestselling author let her natural beauty shine through on the Orange County outing - wearing a grey T-shirt, white knee-length skirt, and plastic shower slides.
