Bill Ritter (Colorado)
August William "Bill" Ritter, Jr. (D) (born September 6, 1956) is the former governor of Colorado. Before his election in 2006, he served as the district attorney for Denver, Colorado, and in the Colorado General Assembly.
Biography
Ritter earned a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and a law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
Retirement
On January 5, 2010, Governor Ritter announced that he would not seek re-election.[1]
