Eleven is the kind of character Jodie’s should have been. The evil people are poking around in an alternate dimension for reasons that actually make sense. The upbringing Eleven has is a realistically damaging and abusive one. I actually want the psychic girl to get together with the guy she likes. I actually felt something for the Mom she never knew. And it incorporates elements and references of several different movies but it forms a coherent plot that you can understand. It is like if every element of Beyond Two Souls was actually done competently and also had other well written characters that have their own arcs.
