Detailed Reviews
Very friendly. Very accommodating staff. Very clean and quiet. Perfect place to stay when visiting relatives or attending a special event in the area. Highly recommend. Breakfast also had a great selection to choose from.

I'm an idiot. I was searching for a motel in Chico and ended up booking this place, based on price and amenities, without realizing how far off Hwy 99 we would be staying. It worked out okay as this Comfort Inn was a very good value. The breakfast was okay, but the breakfast facilities were perhaps below average. There were about six tables crammed into a space that was about 12 ft square. The chairs are over-sized for the space available and they have a useless bar taking up table space. It's a somewhat uncomfortable experience to be eating breakfast as others are milling around waiting for a space to come open.

We appreciate your comments and are very sorry for the discomfort you experienced in the breakfast room. The bar you described is intended for additional seating and once the bar stools are delivered we expect to free up a little room by removing one of the tables. We understand it wasn't your intention to stay so far from Chico, but hope you were able to enjoy a little bit of Paradise!

I know my title sounds promising but remember there are maybe 20 or 30 thousand people living in Paradise and there might be 4 hotels/motels in town all together. Some of these places look like they charge by the hour. If you have to stay in Paradise, Comfort Inn is your best choice. Hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are quite big, small refrigerator, microwave oven, the beds are clean but furniture could use some updating. The hotel is close to the hospital, free wifi that is not the best but faster than at most of Marriott or Hilton hotels. I recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel, my room is on the second floor overlooking the parking lot (with small swimming pool in the middle) and close to the road that could be noisy at times.

I come to the area for work 2-3 times per year and always stay here. The desk help is unfailingly friendly, breakfast is great, everything is very clean and the internet works quickly. There are good places to eat nearby. They got a new delivery of LG TVs when I was checking in. The price seems to have crept up a bit the last couple of years.

They staff here was GREAT. It's not the most updated hotel but it's clean and they are friendly and I would recommend staying here if you need a place to stay in Paradise

We enjoyed a comfortable stay here on the edge of Paradise, with views of incense cedars and pondorosa pines. Room was very large and well-appointed. Hot breakfast included biscuits and gravy as well as DIY waffles - with eco-friendly compostable plates made of potato starch! Don't miss the spectacular Butte Canyon nearby - there is a viewpoint on the Skyway between Paradise and Chico and a clifftop trail in Bille Park. Only (minor) negative was the odd placement of the spa in the middle of the parking lot - would have been nice to have some mountain plants around it. You can choose a pet-friendly or pet free room (we appreciated the latter, since we have pet allergies).

We booked our rooms 9+ months prior to our stay. My nephews daughter would be graduating from Chico State. No rooms in Chico! The upcoming graduate said, try Paradise - we did and we our so glad. Michelle was the best "hostess", we were all checked in, no fuss no muss. Although I did request all our rooms as close as possible, I was left out due to my "married" name did not match the rest of the family...darn! No problem, my son and I went to our room on 3rd floor (others on 2nd). Room was very nice, very large - microwave, fridge, recliner, nice business chair at desk. We had a rollaway (son said not so comfie) the bed was very comfortable. My only minus was the ice machine right outside the door - ouch - very noisy at nite. The first nite we opened drapes and there was a family of white tailed deer outside, just lounging ! So cool. I would definitely stay here again, as would the extended family. Thank you Michelle for a wonderful experience! The morning breakfast looked good, but I was always the late one so never had a chance to try. p.s., shower was excellent, continuous hot water, great shower head & most important it had curved shower curtain rod !

We've been staying at Choice hotels very regularly for the past 12 years, and would unquestionably rank this hotel as the #1 Choice hotel we've experienced in all that time!
Everything was very clean and well maintained, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was roomy, comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was fresh and offered a wide selection, there was ample parking, and the price was near the low end of all the Quality Inns and Comfort Inns we've seen over the years. Even the landscaping was quite nice.
We couldn't think of a single thing we'd want changed to make this a better stay than it was. We'll drive out of our way to stay here again next time we visit this region of California.

Excellent one night stopover. Outside hot tub and small pool were clean. The room was clean and larger than average. Would recommend to anyone. The staff were courteous and knowledgable of the local amenities.

Our breakfast bar and front desk are currently being worked on. However, we are still serving full hot breakfast in a different area of the hotel.
No it is not complete. I was there 2 weeks ago. They were using a room for check in and out. Also the breakfast area was in a converted room. No juice at breakfast. It was a little strange. Workmen all over the place
