What travelers are saying
- Jason RosenauWestlock, Canada323 contributionsA must do while in Milwaukee. A great display outlining the history of Harley Davidson from the beginning up to today. The motor room displayed all their engines over the years was neat also.Written December 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tarit1979Gurugram (Gurgaon), India254 contributionsFirst of all the building architecture itself is great with the shape of a ship in harbor. Inside there are art pieces dedicated to all kinds of paintings, sculptures and even modern industrial design. It is a very good learning experience and also informative. There is an art studio inside where kids can engage in art and craft and it is quite engaging for them for at least an hour.Written March 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marc WBloomington, MN297 contributionsWe did the tour on a busy Saturday evening. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. It was a full tour through the brewery and he explained the brewing process as well as the story of the founding of the brewery at the beginning of the craft beer craze. With your ticket you get 4 beer tokens you can use while you wait for the tour to start and after. ask for your beer in a plastic cup…you get a bigger pour). There is a stop during the tour where you get to use a token also. There were no disappointments with the beers. After the tour we stayed for dinner in the brew hall and enjoyed a great basket of cheese curds (large nuggets!) and some good fish and chips.Written April 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Extraordinary80215210 contributionsThe park is beautiful and staff so friendly! Glad there's a roof.... It was raining. 3rd row seats reasonably priced. Clean! Great custard. Tourist trying to hit all US ball parks....impressed with it, but not a Fenway or Wrigley.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jill EEasley, SC267 contributionsThe Pabst mansion is a lovely late 1800s dwelling, home to the Pabst beer baron and his family. The decor is beautiful with much of the original woodwork and some furnishings and light fixtures belonging to the family. We did the self-guided tour, with docents along the way providing trivia and history of the home and the Pabst family. Self-guided tours are limited to one hour, and I would have liked a little longer. It was pouring rain, so we didn’t wander the grounds. This was a lovely way to spend an otherwise dreary morning in Milwaukee.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jill EEasley, SC267 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed the audio tour of this incredibly beautiful Basilica, so rich in history. The ornate interior of this Basilica rivals many of the cathedrals we saw in Europe - really - it’s that breathtaking. The audio tour gives so much more information than just the pamphlet tour. It even includes music! This might be my favorite experience in Milwaukee. The stained glass windows alone are worth seeing. Best $5 and 45 minutes you’ll spend in the area.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- danielthiel54Muskego, WI1 contributionWe took my son and his wife out on 4/20 and chose Great Lakes Distillery because I am a member of the Copper Still Society. It was very busy but we got some drinks and a table opened up. We had an hour before our tour and put in a food order. The food came quickly and was delicious! The tour was fun and the drinks were great! A very enjoyable afternoon:)Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
