Toronto FC secured a 3-1 victory against FC Dallas on Saturday night, propelled by two goals from Federico Bernardeschi.

Bernardeschi demonstrated his prowess early in the game, netting his first goal for Toronto (6-4-1) during the third minute of first-half stoppage time.

He continued to impress, adding another goal in the 52nd minute, with an assist from Jonathan Osorio.

Not only did Bernardeschi exhibit his scoring ability, but he also contributed an assist during the match.

The 30-year-old Italian star's performance marked a significant milestone as it was his first goal since he scored two goals in a 3-2 loss to CF Montreal on Aug. 20, breaking a streak of 19 consecutive games without a goal.

Toronto's victory was further solidified by a goal from Matthew Longstaff, showcasing the team's depth and offensive capabilities.

FC Dallas (2-6-2) managed to find the back of the net through Sam Junqua, but Toronto's defensive resilience limited their opportunities throughout the match.
