Cameron Diaz In Talks To Star Opposite Keanu Reeves In Apple Original Films’ ‘Outcome’ From Jonah Hill

EXCLUSIVE: After landing the coveted package last year, Apple Original Films is putting together quite the cast for Jonah Hill‘s dark comedy Outcome. Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to co-star opposite Keanu Reeves — who is also in final negotiations — in the pic, which Hill will direct and also star in.

Co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods, Outcome follows Reef (Reeves), a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip. An Apple Studios production, the film will be produced by Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin and Hill under their Strong Baby banner.

The film marks the latest collaboration for Hill and Apple Original Films; they are also developing a Grateful Dead biopic with Martin Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions, to be directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. Hill is starring and producing under Strong Baby with Dines and Goodwin.

After taking a long break from acting, Diaz, known for her roles in such hits as Bad Teacher, The Mask and There’s Something About Mary, is making a strong return, starring this year in Netflix action comedy Back in Action opposite Jamie Foxx. Outcome will mark her first role since Sony’s Annie in 2014.

Since then, Diaz has still been busy on other fronts when she added author to her list of accomplishments with the 2014 publication of the New York Times bestseller The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body, followed by The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time in 2017. In 2020, Cameron and serial entrepreneur Katherine Power launched Avaline, a collection of organically farmed wines.

Diaz is repped by LBI Entertainment CEO Rick Yorn.

Justin Timberlake Allegedly Cheated on Cameron Diaz With Playboy Bunny Zoe Gregory

Justin Timberlake Allegedly Cheated on Cameron Diaz With Playboy Bunny Zoe Gregory

Former Playboy Bunny Zoe Gregory is spilling the tea on her celebrity hookups in her new memoir, From Britain to Bunny.

Perhaps one of the most surprising tidbits from her book was her claim that she “made out” with Justin Timberlake when he came to a party at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion in the early 2000s.

Gregory recalled how at the bash, she began talking to Timberlake, who mentioned his girlfriend at the time, Cameron Diaz.

The model said she teased and flirted with the singer by noting the actress wasn’t at the party with them, which lead to him giving into her advances.

“He didn’t want to look like a wimp,” she said. “We both got in the grotto and we both got our kit off – down to his shorts – and we ended up fooling around.” The British star clarified that they didn’t sleep together, “but we had a fondle and we made out.”

“I just wanted to tick him off my list, to be honest. It was literally a five-minute thing and from what I can remember, he was decent,” she spilled about the *NSYNC alum, who dated Diaz from 2003 to 2007.

However, since she wasn’t actually supposed to be at the party per Hefner’s rules, they cut their time together short.

“I was so scared of getting caught that I couldn’t continue for too long,” she explained. “Before it could go any further, we both put our clothes back on and said goodbye.” This is hardly the first time some of Timberlake’s alleged dirty laundry has been exposed, as in ex Britney Spears’ memoir, she claimed they both cheated on each other during their teen romance.

The “Toxic” songstress also revealed that when she got pregnant with his child, he convinced her to have an abortion.

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” she penned in The Woman in Me, which debuted in October 2023. “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

Months after her book became a bestseller, Spears issued an apology toward her ex and anyone else she “offended” with her book. The mom-of-two also gave a shoutout to his new songs, “Selfish” and “Sanctified.”

Timberlake snubbed her kind gesture just days later, as before he performed his tune “Cry Me a River” — a song rumored to be about Spears — he declared to his fans, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize…. to absolutely f—— nobody!”

Here’s to many more amazing projects that she has in store for us including Back in Action! Feel free to wish Cameron a very happy birthday

Cameron Has No Idea What is Going on With ‘Back in Action’ Nor Jamie Foxx

Cameron Has No Idea What is Going on With ‘Back in Action’ Nor Jamie Foxx

Cameron Diaz has not spoken to her longtime friend and co-star Jamie Foxx since his mysterious hospitalization in April – and she has ‘no clue’ what will happen to their joint film Back In Action, which was already plagued with complications.

A close friend of the 50-year-old actress tells DailyMail.com exclusively that ‘Cameron has not spoken to Jamie at all and does not know anything other than what she hears.’ The A-listers were shooting scenes together days before he was hospitalized.

Cameron has since wrapped filming for her ‘comeback’ project, but the insider says that she may not be coming back at all due to the series of unfortunate events that transpired since she decided to return to her acting shoes.

‘Cameron has not signed on for another film and is not currently taking any new scripts,’ the pal revealed. ‘Honestly, she is not sure what is going on with Back In Action and isn’t very proud of it, considering there was so much drama even before Jamie was hospitalized.’

Cameron was ready to quit acting for a second time when problems started occurring behind the scenes of Back In Action. The ongoing issues are said to have caused Cameron and Jamie to get into heated arguments on-set.

Their disagreements were reportedly never resolved prior to Jamie’s hospitalization, and now the friend says that Cameron is suffering from huge ‘guilt’ over the fact that she and her pal never ‘made amends’.

‘Cameron feels a tremendous sense of guilt now about their quarrels since she has not been able to make amends,’ the insider shared.

Representatives for Cameron and Jamie did not respond to requests for comment.

Although filming for Back In Action is finished, the source added that there are ‘major setbacks in post production’ for the Netflix-funded movie, noting that even Cameron isn’t sure what will happen with the project.

Jamie was an executive producer on the film and producers have been at a stand-still in recent weeks due to the uncertainty of his condition.

In March, Jamie allegedly ‘had an absolute meltdown’ while the film was shooting in the UK, which led to the firing of multiple people, including an executive producer, two directors and his own driver.

There was even more drama when it was revealed that production was paused last month after an unexploded WWII-era bomb was discovered on the film’s set in London, just before two major action scenes were set to be filmed.

Aside from ‘hating the drama and confrontation’ on set, she also didn’t like the 12-hour workdays that kept her from her husband Benji Madden, 44, and their daughter Raddix.

Fans were initially alerted about Jamie’s health scare when his daughter Corinne Foxx shared a statement on social media on April 12.

Corinne wrote, ‘We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.’

‘We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,’ the statement concluded.

In an Instagram post on May 3, his family posted on his profile said: ‘Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed’ followed by praying hands, heart and fox emojis.

It’s unclear if Jamie himself made the post. At that point, no further details on his condition had been shared, leading to speculation about how serious his illness is.

One week later, an unnamed source shared on social media that Jamie’s situation was dire. ‘He wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to okay. His friends and family are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst!’

Corinne was quick to fire back. Sharing the statement from the unnamed source on her Instagram, she wrote, ‘Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild.’

‘My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!’

Since then, Jamie’s family has been seen numerous times visiting a medical facility in Chicago, which specializes in treatment for adults with ‘severe complex conditions’, including stroke recovery.

In addition to Corinne, Jamie’s good friend Dave Brown was also seen visiting the facility and spent time chatting to Corinne before going to visit the star.

Corrine was pictured arriving at the facility, which is touted as the top rehabilitation center in the country, for ‘the most severe, complex conditions’.

On May 23, ex-boxer Mike Tyson said that Jamie may have suffered a stroke during his appearance on the Valuetainment podcast.

‘He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. I have no idea what happened to him,’ Mike said.

Claims on social media that Jamie was left seriously ill due to a Covid-19 vaccine went viral recently, with notable right-wing figures such as Candace Owens backing it up.

Jamie’s reps denied the accusations and said that they were ‘untrue’ – but did not reveal what his health scare was caused by.

Last week, John Boyega, 32 – who starred alongside Jamie in his latest Netflix film They Cloned Tyrone – expressed great concern for Jamie at the film’s premier in Florida.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, John said, ‘No one has heard from Jamie. I wanted him to show up here, but you know, I know he’s dealing with what he’s dealing with. I just wish him all the best.’

Saying that there has been some ‘missed calls’ from himself to Jamie, he added: ‘I’ve been calling, I am just going to keep on calling.’

Rumor: Diaz Likely to Leave Hollywood Again After Jamie Foxx Meltdown

Rumor: Diaz Likely to Leave Hollywood Again After Jamie Foxx Meltdown

Cameron Diaz likely won’t return to Hollywood for another film – after a friend revealed the star has been struggling with super long work days that tear her apart from her husband Benji Madden and their three-year-old daughter, Raddix.

The 50-year-old officially retired from her Hollywood career in 2018, before being lured back by her close friend Jamie, 55, to star alongside him in action comedy Back In Action.

But her comeback project was thrown into turmoil earlier this month, when it was reported that Jamie ‘had an absolute meltdown’ on the UK set of the movie, which led to the firing of three people.

Now, a source close to the star has revealed that – while she does not have any issues with Jamie – she likely won’t return to the world of film after wrapping the project, because she’s had such a hard time being away from her family and hates the ‘drama and confrontation’ that so often erupts on movie sets.

‘These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,’ the pal tells DailyMail.com exclusively, adding, ‘Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.’

‘She hates drama and confrontation. This is why she retired from the business in the first place,’ she source adds. ‘She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone.’

Cameron famously walked away from Hollywood in 2018 to spend more time with her rocker husband Benji, 44.

The two welcomed their daughter in December 2019 and have been incredibly private about their lives as parents to their three-year-old.

According to the insider, while Benji has been incredibly ‘supportive’ of his wife’s decision to come out of retirement, the decision has taken a toll on him.

‘Benji is supportive of everything that Cameron does, but it has been a lot on him,’ the source tells DailyMail.com. ‘Although she has gotten to see her family while shooting the film, it is just not the same.’

In regards to Jamie’s tantrum on set that led to him firing an executive producer, two directors and his driver, the insider was mum on specific details.

They did say, however, that they would be ‘incredibly surprised if it caused any tension between Jamie and Cameron.’

‘When you are in a position of authority, sometimes you have to make decisions to let people go who do not share the same vision as you,’ the pal says.

‘Cameron is a businessperson and understands that this is necessary at times and, honestly, Jamie is the only reason that she is doing this film and they are still very close.’

Over the course of two decades, Cameron racked up over 40 massively successful films and, at one time, was the highest paid actress in Hollywood.

However, since announcing her retirement, she has turned her hand to other ventures – including creating her own wine brand, Avaline, which she launched with business partner Katherine Powers during the height of the pandemic in 2020.

This venture was a major turning point for the Charlie’s Angels’ actress – and has, according to the source, given her a new creative outlet on which to focus.

‘Cameron has gotten extremely involved in Avaline and was pivotal in it’s creation,’ the insider shared.

‘Aveline has grown exponentially and it is something that Cameron is very, very proud of.’

DailyMail.com has reached out to Cameron’s spokesperson for comment.

Prior to the film that she is currently working on, Cameron has not done a movie since 2014, when she starred alongside Jamie in the musical comedy film adaptation of Annie.

She officially announced her retirement in a 2018 interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Although she had no real plans to return to the spotlight, the end of her retirement was announced by Jamie on his Twitter account in June 2022.

In the shocking post, Jamie brought infamously unretired NFL star Tom Brady in on a conversation with Cameron in an effort to convince her back from her retirement.

During the call, she made a point to say how nervous she was about making an announcement.

‘I’m so anxious right now, I’m pacing the room… I don’t know how to do this, you know?’ the stunning actress stated.

Jamie dialed in Tom, 45, who unretired from the NFL only to re-retire again, to give Cameron a few tips.

‘I was talking to Jamie and he said you needed a few tips on how to un-retire. I’m relatively successful at un-retiring,’ the newly single quarterback said.

Jamie then told Tom that he was trying to coax Cameron to come back, referring to her as a GOAT, which stands for Greatest Of All Time.

‘Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT,’ Jamie said.

Cameron shared a screenshot of the voice call to her Instagram story with a message to he longtime friend and fellow A-list star.

‘Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!,’ Cameron said, dropping a hint about the title of their upcoming film.

Cameron Diaz’s big movie comeback in crisis as Hollywood co-star ‘sacks staff’

Cameron Diaz’s big movie comeback in crisis as Hollywood co-star ‘sacks staff’

CAMERON Diaz’s first movie in nine years is in chaos thanks to a meltdown by co-star Jamie Foxx.

Insiders say Oscar winner Jamie, 55, has thrown a strop over production issues and that has led to four people being sacked.

Back In Action, which is being filmed in London, is the first movie that Cameron, 50, is working on since Annie in 2014.

But the Shrek star’s return is not going smoothly due to Jamie.

A source said: “There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a major meltdown over it all.

“He demanded the problems be sorted immediately and sacked four of the production staff — as if that would magically improve the situation.”

Those axed are an executive producer, an assistant director and a unit director — as well as Jamie’s driver.

The source added: “Some people working on it are totally fed up with how this has played out and Jamie has become pretty unpopular.”

Jamie, who won the Best Actor Oscar in 2005 for Ray, and Cameron have been filming since December — with a major explosion stunt being shot on the Thames.

It is their third time working together after Annie and Any Given Sunday in 1999.

Cameron had said she was retiring in 2018 to focus on family life with hubby, Benji Madden, 44 — and they had a daughter via surrogate in 2019.

Jamie announced he had managed to bring Cameron on board last June.

In a phone chat, that was released online, she said: “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action. I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”
