A little part of Italy situated on the front of Hastings by St Mary’s in the Castle. We walked in as a family of 6 (two grandchildren) and we were welcomed right away. The Gavi wine was well priced and also the Peroni is on tap!
The interior was understated, simply decorated to make you feel at home and ease into the atmosphere.
Waiting staff were quick attentive and very friendly.
I and my son in law went for the mussels and whitebait, both were delicious and my ‘soup’ at the bottom was excellent.
High praise for the Carbonara, Lasagne, Pizza, and my Seafood Pasta was excellent. I felt the pasta home made making that little extra touch. The sausage on the pizza was definitely spicy (lovely for us old’uns but a bit too hot for grandson) and authentic.
We were full to bursting but managed to squeeze in the amazing Gelato and Cheesecake!
All in all a great dining experience and when back in the area will certainly drop in again.
