We stayed at Daisy Hill B&B , in the upstairs suite with kitchen and 2 bedrooms/2 baths, for 6 months during the pandemic and while our local home was unavailable. Linda and Darrell were gracious and welcoming hosts. Though we knew the neighborhood and city well, clearly they would be excellent resources for any guests who were new to Nashville. The location, in the Hillsboro- West End Neighborhood, is quiet and residential, and very convenient to Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, as well as many of the prime tourist attractions in downtown Nashville.

This tastefully furnished apartment was equipped with a galley kitchen with tableware and cooking untensils ; no breakfast service was included. Towels and sheets were provided and laundered every 2 weeks. Laundry facilities for other needs were available 3 blocks away at a laundromat and a drop-off laundry. A local Kroger grocery was conveniently nearby also within walking distance. Free on street parking was provided. The house and grounds were lovely, well decorated and inviting and in a quiet neighborhood. We were grateful to have this retreat as our home for 6 months and would recommend the Daisy Hill 2- bedroom suite apartment for those who want a restful stay in a prime Nashville location

We just spent three nights in this beautiful bed and breakfast and agree with other reviews that it is indeed a gem. The home is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Every measure is taken to insure the health and safety of the guests. The rooms are now furnished with flat screen tv, refrigerator and microwave for those guests that feel more comfortable remaining away from others. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts made by Linda each morning and the interaction with another couple that were staying there. The highlight was a delightful time spent with Linda and Darrell over a glass of wine on their patio on a quiet late afternoon. When the time came for us to leave, we felt like we were saying goodbye to two old friends.

We come down to Nashville several times a year. It is such a delight that we found the Daisy Inn. Situated in a beautiful area adjacent to the center of Nashville, everything is within arms reach. The inn is kept immaculate and everything from our room to taking our breakfasts was super Covid Safe. Our room the Scottish Room, had an extremely comfortable bed, great jacuzzi tub/ shower. What made our stay extra special was the kindness of the owner. Great breakfasts, one day waffles and bacon, the Next scrambled eggs, a sweet bun and fresh fruit. The inn is in a private walking area of residential homes, quiet and all lovely to look at. Minutes from the hospital, Restaurants, Music...it is all a win win! Planning our next trip back in a few months to this lovely welcoming home away from home.

My fiancée and I had a great stay at Daisy Hill. We got there and got a free upgrade from the Scottish room to the Library suite. Breakfast was always tasty, the room was great, the location was close to downtown Nashville, and Darryl and Linda were helpful and courteous hosts! The stay was Covid safe and is only booking vaccinated guests, but honestly, we would have been fine sharing spaces with vaccinated and unvaccinated guests alike, as we were both vaccinated.

Would definitely recommend you check out this bed and breakfast if you are looking to stay in Nashville!

My wife and I have traveled from Oregon pulling a Classic Chevrolet pick up to friends in Clarksville, with our mission complete we head into Nashville to enjoy the
city. The curb appeal of this home is outstanding and it doesn't disappoint when you step in either. This beautiful 1925 home is full of southern charm and hospitality. Linda and Darryl where great to talk to and offered wonderful suggestions about what to see in Nashville. The home is immaculate, comfortable and quiet. After a restful night and great shower we sat down to a wonderful breakfast prepared and served by Darryl. We mentioned we were going the the Country Music Hall of Fame and he suggested we make sure and do the Studio B tour which is an add on to the Hall of Fame. DO IT!! So worth the time and extra money, especially if you are a music history buff and Elvis fan. Darryl was right on the money. Coming back after a long long day it was great to come back to the quiet elegance of Daisy Hill B &B. Darryl did it again with another wonderful breakfast and great conversation. Will absolutely stay here next trip to Nashville. Hope you guys get your sailboat out on the high seas soon. Thank you again for a memorable stay.

This is a charming home, with welcoming host and excellent food. The location is close enough to great restaurants and things to do, but still in a quiet setting with lush gardens surrounding the home. Would highly recommend this B&B and will return anytime we are here in Nashville.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at Daisy Hill. We were about a 5-10 minute ride from downtown. Uber was about $8 to ride to the downtown strip of bars. The neighborhood Daisy Hill is in is very walking and biking friendly. I felt safe to leave my car there (free parking!).
Their hospitality and cleanliness were both amazing and professional. With COVID on the mind, they were very courteous to ask what we were and weren’t comfortable with along with laying out proper guidelines for us while still being enjoyable.

Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood. Meals were awesome with fruit, juice, and hot breakfast items. Stayed in library suite. The bedroom's large windows overlooked the back garden. Comfortable bed - slept soundly. Close to the places that we wanted to visit - music venues in the Gulch and Belmont Mansion. Linda was very helpful with suggestions for other sites to visit in Nashville.

We went down to celebrate our engagement and daisy hill was the place to do it. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. They offered us coffee, tea, juice however we wanted it.
They were very good to work around dietary restrictions. It was very nice to know the people we were staying with and having that connection.
The home was very clean and welcoming.

How far from music row and opryland are they easy accessable
Answer from Barb B
Weaverville, North Carolina85 contributions29 helpful votes
Opryland is no longer in downtown Nashville, but is out by the airport, so Daisy Hill is not close to it at all. It is a short drive on US 231 (just a few blocks from the B&B) to get to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Theater (where the Opry used to be...) and to Broadway (or "music row" as you referred to it.) You will need a car to get anywhere from Daisy Hill, but most places of interest are just a short drive away. I recommend getting a good map of downtown Nashville-- there are good ones available online that give you enough details to find pretty much everything you'd want to see. Or, use GPS.
