The Beaufort Hotel garners praise for its immaculate and modern rooms, which boast spacious showers and stunning views, while the friendly staff and professional service are frequently commended. The hotel's array of amenities, including a praised shuttle service and excellent dining, contribute to a comfortable stay. Despite the high marks for cleanliness and a refreshing nautical ambiance, some guests find the parking costly and the location somewhat remote from downtown attractions.

The Beaufort Hotel is a lovely choice for a StayCation! Our beautiful weekend was most memorable as the staff treated us like family. We enjoyed the valet service most as we were in and out with things to do with our little one. Trying to walk a kid to and from the self parking lot would have been too much so we took Sasha's advice and treated ourselves to luxury valet service! We never waited and the car was always ready for us before we had a chance to get outside. The restaurant had the kid favorites and that was great also! Nicole always said hello to our daughter and even remembered her name and that made her day!

Visited for 5 nights with our dog. Pet friendly rooms will not have an option of water view from the room but they are on the first floor with a sliding glass door out into a grassy area which is great for walking your dog. We stayed in a room on the side of the hotel that overlooked the paved valet parking area, when walking the dog, I noticed that some pet friendly rooms were in the front of the hotel facing the main road, I prefer our area facing the valet parking. Which was also nice that I was able to get to our car (take both sets of keys) and I loaded up some of our items the night before we left to make load up the day we left easier. The restaurant on site, 34 degrees North, has pet friendly outdoor dining - great food and water view. All hotel staff wore their masks and most all of the guest as well. Felt very safe during the COVID Pandemic. No housekeeping, but being we stayed for 5 nights, we could have had the option after 3 days, we chose not to and just requested some clean towels (which we had within 10 minutes of our request to the front desk). No robes or coffee makers in the room during this time but coffee readily available in the lobby area. Everyone at the hotel was extremely polite and the Valet group was phenomenal, car was always there within 5 minutes - every time I was out walking the dog, I saw the Valet Group RUNNING across the lawn the the parking lot to get the cars. Even though the hotel charges $15 a day for Valet parking - we always tipped the Valet workers, they earned it. The restaurant staff does a wonderful job as well. Everyone of our servers were fabulous. Pool area is nice, towels were available out by the pool, chairs and umbrellas are spaced out for social distancing. Highly recommend this hotel and we are planning a return trip.

This is a beautiful place. The staff are friendly and inviting. The lobby, the dining area, and the bar are all very nice and make great use of the beautiful views of the water. There is hand sanitizer in the hallways, entries, and on the elevators.

My room was a king suite. It was surprisingly large for the price. The bed was very comfortable, The tv gives you a welcome message with an option to use your phone as a remote if you choose. The Bath is large with modern fixtures, and an amazing shower head in a large walk-in shower. The sitting area has very cozy furniture. The veranda offers a nice view with nice table and chairs.

I had read the reviews about the parking before I booked. Yes it is inconvenient, and the staff acknowledge this as soon as you arrive. I recommend the valet, but they let you park for free if you want to walk the distance. The staff are great about this either way you choose. The issue is that the hotel is on a great location on the water's edge side of the road, but the parking lot is on the other side of the road. Once you see the area, you'll understand that this is the only way it could be.

Dining is very good, but a little pricey. If one considers the view as part of the experience, then it's worth it. A wrap-around deck with lots of seating offers some great sunset or sunrise views of Taylor Creek and Carrot Island.

The outdoor pool seemed nice. It was still open on October 27, but I didn't see anybody in it. The waterfront chapel is beautiful.

This hotel is mid-range priced, but it feels more like a luxury hotel. I would say it is a great value.

I took my 10 year old great niece to the hotel the weekend of June 5th - June 8th. The view driving into the hotel was stunning and the check-in process went flawlessly. We were in room 156 which is a king room. The room was spacious and also had a fold out sofa bed, a separate sitting area with chairs and table. The decor was beautiful, calming and the bed was comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant Friday night. T The food, service and view from the outside balcony was wonderful.

I can't say enough about the staff. No matter who we encountered, all were friendly and helpful. Due to COVID, all employees were wearing masks and the cleaning staff did not enter our room unless we made a request. Safety procedures were definitely in place.

Beaufort is a quaint, historical town and there is lots to do. Morehead City is also close as well as Atlantic Beach. Fort Macon has a nice visitor area and free parking so to get to the beach from the hotel is about 10 minutes. I love the area and will continue to support the hotel and town of Beaufort.

We don't typically stay in isolated areas; however, in light of the Pandemic we wanted to spend our 15th anniversary in a not so busy area. Beaufort Hotel was the perfect spot. The lobby was beautiful as well as the view from the top. Our room was nice; however, the bathroom door did not close completely nor did it lock. I'm used to having my privacy. Also, the shower door did not close completely. We ordered room service for breakfast one day which was delightful. There is a big eyesore on the property. Originally our room was facing this warehouse looking building that was being torn down or just falling down. The front desk gladly moved us to a bottom floor room facing a man made ditch? There was valet parking for a fee or you could park at a couple of nearby areas if you don't mind walking a little bit.

Having had a nice stay here previously, this time was a very bad experience. While indicating masks were required, most people at the hotel were not wearing masks and were not social distancing at all.
Not wanting to use the valet, the only disabled parking is far away in a parking lot with a 100 yard walk to get to our room. In addition the sprinklers were running at 9pm between the parking lot and hotel! Go figure! Also, none of the housekeepers were wearing masks either. It was kind of ridiculous. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

This hotel needs to get rid of the large green lawn in front of the hotel and install a parking lot. The only choice is valet ($15 per day +) or walking a 100 + yds for self park. Until they change this I won’t return.
Room is great and spacious. Coffee makers have been removed from the rooms due to Covid (only hotel I have stayed in to do this)but free coffee is available in lobby - a mile away from the room.

We recently stayed two nights with water views. Overall, it was a nice experience. PROS: Location is on beautiful Taylor Creek, rooms are spacious, and staff is friendly. CONS: Rooms could be much cleaner ( vents are filled with dust, bathrooms could be cleaner, etc.), balcony is tiny and a/c vent blows hot air and is extremely loud. Not a great design. We had a bad experience both nights as we stayed on the second floor and had a large family above us. Kids running and pounding all hours of the night and drunk father tried to get in our room at 1am. He realized his key wasn’t working, so he was pounding on our door. My husband told him he was at the wrong room. Minutes later we can here him stumbling around above us until he fell and hit the floor. This was a frightening experience for our children and could have happened anywhere, but one we won’t forget. DINING: Food was fresh snd tasty but expect to wait long and pay a lot. We were told the kitchen only had three people working. If you can afford it, get the suite as the balcony is much roomier ( my parents had this room) and stay on the third floor. Also, book the golf carts in advance. We called a week earlier and the front desk told us to book it when we arrive. There were none available when we checked-in. A disappointment for all.

This property is very clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms have every plug you will need and the automatic shades were a nice touch. The bathroom was large, especially the shower. Our room had a mini fridge and a not great coffee maker. The restaurant was somewhat upscale and the meals we had were very good. Overall the property was well kept and the scenery beautiful. For Beaufort it was 5 star but if you travel a lot it was closer to a 4 star property. The valet parking is $15 nightly which is not bad IF you don't leave the hotel. Beaufort is 2+ miles away and the hotel does not have many activities so you will want to visit Beaufort to experience the area. So, tipping the valet after each return increases the actual cost of parking. Or they make you park about a 5-10 minute walk away in a less than desirable location. So, if you are disabled or someone who cannot walk distances, they basically force you to valet. The valets are friendly as would be expected and they get your car quickly but the self parking poses a potential hazard for some people and reduces the star rating of the property.

We recently stayed here for a weekend getaway. We upgraded our room and paid considerably more for a water view which I feel was stretching it. We were on the bottom floor with a fence/building view. You could barely see the water through the fence. Over all we had a nice time and the room itself was very nice. The bed was really comfortable and the showers were also very nice, but seemed overpriced for the view and you could hear the tv in the room next door and above. The pool and hot tub were also drained. Really glad that we did not have a pool view. We were really hoping to be able to enjoy the hot tub as the weather was 75 degrees during the day and 60’s at night. Perfect hot tub weather. I would recommend the restaurant next door which had a great view and the food was excellent. On a side note, the hotel was located a little further from town then we anticipated. We prefer to be closer to town within walking distance of restaurants and night life.
