A movie that made me cry at the end , even though I knew the results I loved watching the results . Yes 45 min of fighting but same 45 min I was jumping yelling at the French . The movie was very well made , something not seen in Mexican movies since the golden age cinema , ( cine de oro) .

Cuando vi esta película de la batalla del Cinco de Mayo pensé que vería algo histórico, bien redactado, algo épico al estilo Troya o Alejandro ya que se uso un buen presupuesto y buenos actores..pero fue una decepción total. Voy por partes, primero el actor que se escogió para hacer Ignacio Zaragoza, Kuno Becker no era el indicado y como de costumbre, al protagonista principal lo tiene que poner de "galan." Y lo que es peor, el acento y el español que se usaba en esa película era exactamente como en los tiempos de ahora como si en 1860 los mexicanos hablábamos con el mismo sonido que tenemos en el 2016, porfavor, falta de seriedad de sus partes al no dedicarle tiempo a investigar los modismos que se usaban en esos tiempos. Otro defecto de este filme es que los actores que personificaban a personas históricas menores como a los generales españoles y británicos resultaron ser los mejore actores en el elenco..a los principales como Benito Juarez y Porfirio Diaz eran unos desconocidos y su actuación era mediocre, PORFAVOR! Lo otro que me decepciono de la película son los errores históricos...esta bien, casi todas las películas históricas en el cine por alguna manera no son acuradas, ni siquiera las películas históricas de Mel Gibson. Pero algunas "pecan" y manchan la reputación de un país como Francia al poner a su ejercito de bárbaro, criminal y discriminador...esta muy probado que el ejercito Frances fue muy profesional y tenia un buen código de conducta..esas "atrocidades" no están difundidas en nuestra historia...tengo que recalcar que esto el producto de la televisa de ahora, es solo comercio, nada de calidad!. Las películas y novelas de ahora jamas van a superar la época de oro del cine Mexicano y las novelas del antaño..novelas historicas como EL VUELO DEL AGUILA para mi la mejor representación del Cinco de Mayo que hamas haya existido y el actor Manuel Ojeda como el mejor Porfirio Diaz de todos tiempos..epoca que hamas va regresar..
