We spent a wonderful evening in the B&B al Battistero d’Oro on a road trip through Italy. The location is a stone’s throw away from the breath-taking cathedral complex. Public parking just a few hundred meters away was also a draw. Patrizia was a gracious hostess who helped us find a delicious trattoria after our first choice was booked out. We enjoyed sitting in the common rooms with their old world charm. Breakfast was delicious and elegantly served, no mean feat in these corona-times. We will be back on our next trip to Parma!

We spent one night in the Reina Suite room, a spacious and beautifully furnished room, in this centrally located BnB and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The check-in was easy and Patrizia the host is welcoming and helpful. We had a very ample and delicious breakfast in the dining room at a table set with antique white tablecloths, yet another example of Patrizia's eye for detail. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Parma!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was fabulous! Great central but quiet location. Very tasty varied breakfasts and beautifully presented. We had a lovely spacious twin room and a nice bathroom beside our room, all very peaceful. Lovely host, very welcoming and we took a restaurant recommendation which was great. About a 10 minute walk from the station. Lots to do in Parma, we also spent a day in Modena. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay in Parma. The b&b is in a central position close to everything you may want to experience in Parma. We loved the solitude & the large bedroom with access to a lounge & private bathroom. Patrizia was a gracious & knowledgeable host with a great sense of humour. Her breakfasts were sumptuous & included a wide range of local delicacies. We stayed two nights & it wasn't enough. There is a lot to see & do in this lovely town. Hopefully we can return soon.

Like other reviewers we loved the charm of this property but what makes it so special is Patrizia the owner. She gives 110% to make you feel welcome and help with any requests. She is there when you need her but also gives you privacy. The property is in a great location. As we were travelling without a car being in walking distance to the station was important, yet it is also part of the historic city centre. Her breakfasts were something we looked forward to each day, wondering what homemade delight she had prepared. No hesitation in recommending this property to others.

Where can I park my car? Is it near to the hotel? Is there a cost?

I am sorry but I have no idea. I came by train and walked from the station. But why not send a message to the owner?
