Women in Science @Bangor

We will be celebrating International Women’s Day 2024 by taking this year’s global theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’ as an opportunity to celebrate our women in science.

Free to attend, no booking necessary.

Our speakers will reflect on their experiences, their journeys and talk about how they are inspiring inclusion in their fields:

  • Yueng-Djern Lenn, Professor in Physical Oceanography, School of Ocean Sciences
  • Kodi Edwards studying for an MSc in Marine Biology in the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University Inclusive Scholarship recipient

This event is hosted by Professor Andrew Edwards, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Welsh Language, Civic Engagement and Strategic Partnerships and Professor Morag McDonald, Interim Pro-Vice-Chancellor / Head of College (Science & Engineering) and Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor (Diversity and Inclusion). It is open to all staff and students.
