Dining together allows us to better understand who we are, regardless of our social status. The food does not have to be elegant, complicated, or fancy. We find that busy people like simple food—the busier they are, the simpler the food. Our menu is straightforward, down-home Southern food with a few more contemporary dishes.

Getting back to the table allows us to love and nurture each other and renew connections to our families—however they may be configured—in this diverse and ever-changing society. Such connections are crucial in a fast-paced world where we feel more disconnected every day. One of the best ways we know how to restore that daily balance is to sit down at our table.

We should all think about returning to the sanctity of the table, where we can rebuild our families whether they be given or chosen, and reconnect with those we love and choose to love. Our table is a familiar, uncomplicated, friendly place where we can celebrate.

we love this place for pre theater meals. Food is very good and service has always been outstanding. Might like just a few more menu shoices, but am happy with the selections and the quality of the food.

The service was incredibly slow. The one cocktail I had was watered down. The fried chicken, their signature dish, was overcooked, and the white meat was dry and tough.

Food was decent. Not amazing. Server was very inexperienced. There’s definitely room to grow here for sure. A little more attention to tables will help immensely. I was not a fan of the automatic 20% gratuity. This was NOT made clear upon making the reservation. I make it a habit to always tip well, but didn’t appreciate having automatic gratuity added for a party of two. Really liked the ambiance and the drinks.

Better than expected. Lots of fried foods but we found items that we more to our liking and actually healthier!

The food is excellent. I have never had a bad meal here. The service is usually top notch. Only down side, drinks are SUPER expensive ($24 for a Manhattan), they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill (I was dining alone), and tack on a $2.50 "service" charge. I don't have a clue what it's for.

Our server was on his 4th day and had obviously not received enough training. We waited forever for our drink order to be taken then for them to be delivered. The food delivery was equally as slow. Will not be back.

The deviled eggs are chef’s kiss. The chopped salad do not miss. Our server was terrific and to get a discount for seeing a show the same night at Chicago Shakes is icing on the cake. Make sure you have a reservation.

Excellent food and quality. We were sat immediately, and our server was very attentive. The chocolate pecan pie was very good. Perfect ambiance. Would visit again!

The food is excellent and the service even better. Our server, Melissa, was engaging and friendly. Pricing is what you’d expect at Navy Pier, but it is a good value given the quality of the experience.
