The Baby In Yellow, sometimes stylized as The Baby in Yellow, is a first-person horror game developed and published by game company Team Terrible. Originally made for the 2020 GMTK Jam in 48 hours, or 2 days, the game has since gained massive success worldwide and had became its own thing separate from the Game Jam, and is worked on full time by the developers.

Along with the Black Cat update, the game made its official release on Steam to purchase for an Early Access release at a price of 5.48$. It can be viewed and bought here.
Plot[]
The Baby In Yellow features the story of a babysitter, who was tasked to look after an unusual baby.
Over the course of three nights, the sitter must complete their duty of taking care of the baby. The task is relatively simple: they need to fetch the baby something to eat when he's hungry, by feeding him a bottle of milk, change a new diaper for him when he gets dirty, doing so in the bathroom, and finally, carry him to the crib in his own room and put him to sleep. Though, for most of the time, they don't get to finish their duty quickly and rest easily, as he would cause trouble and make them have to do something out of the plan. After the baby's needs have been taken care of, the sitter would go downstairs and do something to pass the time, while they wait for the parents to come. They normally watch TV to wait.
Oddly, supernatural occurrences frequently happen in the baby's home. The sitter, despite noticing, didn't seem to mind this, and still continued on with their duty, until the final night.
Reception[]
The Baby In Yellow is rated 4.5 stars on itch.io, 4.4 stars on Google Play, and 4.2 stars on the App Store. It has over 150 million downloads on Itch.io and over 50 million downloads on Google Play, making it an enormous success. On Steam, it currently has a rating of Very Positive with over 150 users.
Most feedbacks of the game are positive. The game is praised for being unique and fun, being a babysitting simulator whilst being a horror game at the same time. However, some have criticized the game's horror elements for not being scary or frightening enough.
