Revealed: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker will hold THIRD wedding in Italy 'soon'... and this time her kids and family will be invited to 'big' celebration

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker legally tied the knot on Sunday at the downtown courthouse in Santa Barbara, California, just one month after holding a private wedding ceremony in Las Vegas without a marriage license. 

But they are planning a third exchange of the vows in a very familiar place for the reality television family.

The 42-year-old The Kardashians star will be following in her sister Kim's footsteps with a wedding ceremony in Italy to the 46-year-old Blink-182 musician.

The power couple are said to be walking down the aisle for the third time in the European country along the Mediterranean coastline 'soon,' which will happen in front of their friends and family as many of whom were not in attendance at the first two including her three children.

A source told People magazine on Sunday:  'They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding, which is happening very soon.

'All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited.'

This comes nearly eight years after her sister Kim, now 41, tied the knot to artist Kanye West at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, May 24, 2014.

There have been several A-list celebrity weddings in Italy over the years including Kim's pal Chrissy Teigen tying the knot with singer and Kanye collaborator John Legend in Lake Como, Italy back in September 2013.

George Clooney famously wedded Amal Alamuddin in Venice one year after on September 27, 2014.

Nuptials in Italy have not worked for every celebrity couple, however, as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tied the knot there in November 2006 before ultimately divorcing in 2012.

Many other celebrities have married there including Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault, Jessica Chastain and Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander, David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts, Drew Scott and Linda Phan, and Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars.

This comes as Kourtney and Travis tied the knot at a courthouse in Downtown Santa Barbara on Sunday with official legal paperwork unlike their Las Vegas wedding ceremony a month prior.

The lovebirds, who became engaged in October 2021, exchanged vows with a small number of loved ones and their security, including her maternal grandmother Mary Jo 'MJ' Campbell and Barker’s father Randy, on Sunday.

 And the bride wore... a white mini dress: Kourtney slipped into a very short number for her legal nuptials 

After getting hitched, the reality star and drummer were seen driving off in a vintage black convertible with a sign that said 'just married' hanging off the bumper.   

For her big day, the mother-of-three was seen wearing a short white dress with a plunging neckline and red heart adorned on the bodice and a traditional veil over her dark tresses, which were pulled back for the occasion.

The musician opted for a classic, all-black tuxedo for his third trip down the aisle just a month after boozy 2am, non-legal ceremony with Kardashian.

Afterwards, the couple were seen celebrating with Kourtney's grandmother at a restaurant in Montecito, where the star accessorized her look with a small black purse with a fringe. 

Kourtney further spruced up her wedding look with a chunky gold cross pendant around her neck. 

Curiously, neither Kourtney's famous sisters nor her kids were spotted at the wedding ceremony or the celebration after.

Known for their love of matching, the star and her husband wore coordinated shoes for their big day. While she opted for a pair of burgundy velvet pumps, Travis matched her in trendy men's Rockabilly shoes in the same color.

Meanwhile MJ looked elegant in a black turtleneck underneath a classy black jacket, which she paired with matching pants.  

Kris Jenner's mother further accessorized her look with a two-layer string of white pearls and a gold necklace, and wore her brunette tresses in a chic bob. On her feet she sported a pair of stylish black and white flats. 

Afterwards, the trio were seen leaving together, with Travis being the perfect gentleman as he helped MJ with her walker and made sure that she got back to the car safely.

At the time of her prior Vegas wedding, Kourtney took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps from the nuptials as she said that some drinking lead to the impromptu wedding in Sin City.

She captioned the gallery of retro snaps to her 168million followers: 'Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license).'

She also confirmed that it was not an actual legal ceremony as they did not have a marriage license but it will help them for their actual wedding as she wrote 'Practice makes perfect.'

Under her leather jacket Kourtney wore a yellow 2012 vintage Versace bustier with a huge crystal gothic cross down the middle as she and her man packed on the PDA by sharing several kisses.

Kourtney's social media post was met with much joy from her celebrity family and friends in addition to her loyal followers as many commented on the post sending their love.

Travis commented on the post with two people wearing formalwear emojis with a female gender symbol in between as younger sister Kim replied with four house emojis.

Pal Simon Huck replied: 'Who doesn't love a Vegas dress rehearsal? [red heart emoji]'

The ceremony, which occurred hours after the 2022 Grammy Awards, took place in front of an Elvis impersonator in a room with white walls adorned with pictures of orchids and matching drapery.

The owner of the family-run chapel has revealed the couple, worth a combined $115million, opted for the mid-range package, costing a bargain $199.

The duo exchanged vows under an altar decorated with silk roses with a wood 'love' sign.

The chapel's wedding packages range in price from $99-$699, with the couple purchasing the One Love Affair package for $199, paying extra for the Elvis impersonator, according to In Touch.

The priciest package includes a limo, photo shoot, a wedding concierge, choice of love song, a fresh rose bouquet and garter belt for the bride, wedding video and a rose petal entrance, but the Kravis' budget ceremony was a simpler affair which lasted 30-40 minutes.

It was a private early morning wedding, according to TMZ, who reported that the pair did not allow the venue to take any photos and opted to bring their own photographer and security.

Kourtney and Travis famously were engaged during a romantic beachside proposal in Montecito, California, in October.

Barker's daughter Alabama, now 16, shared a first look at the massive sparkler — which was oval-shaped and appeared to be at least 15 carats and designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz — as they enjoyed an intimate engagement dinner with family and friends after the proposal, with additional footage shared throughout the evening. The ring is estimated to be worth at least $1million.

The proposal took place at 6:30 pm; family members from both sides were in attendance to usher in the happy couple.

The loved-up duo were longtime friends for a decade, before they began dating in the latter part of 2020, and went Instagram official just after Valentine's Day 2021.

Back in August, Kourtney had also given the drummer the strength to fly for the first time in nearly 13 years following a plane crash that killed four and left him with burns on 65% of his body. He shared a snap of the pair embracing by Kylie Jenner's private jet after he took his first flight (to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico) in August and wrote 'anywhere with you.'

Prior to Barker, Kourtney had dated Algerian model Younes Bendjima from 2016 to 2018, and was in a very tumultuous on-off relationship with Disick.

Kourtney and Scott first began dating in 2006 and were in a very on-off relationship for nearly a decade that was wrought with cheating and substance fueled outbursts that tore them apart. They finally called it quits in 2015, but he had made it known numerous times he would be holding out for her.

Scott confessed that Kourtney would 'always be a priority' and had tried to rekindle a few times. During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion (at which point she was already dating Barker) Kourtney spoke about her final straw breaker with Scott and said: 'I think the substance abuse was the deal-breaker.'

He had begrudgingly given her and Barker his blessing as he said: 'I think if you really love somebody, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy,' but seemed to air his real feelings just months later in a DM to her ex Younes.

The message from the Talentless designer slammed Kourtney's PDA with Barker as he shared a photo of the pair making out, and read: 'Yo is this chick ok!??? Broo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.'

Disick was said to be 'riled up' because her new romance was affecting their relationship — which was close and good relative to co-parenting. 'It's more strained than ever,' an Us Weekly insider said.

And PEOPLE reported that he could not accept she was 'happy with someone else.' 'Scott has always had a difficult time accepting that Kourtney is happy with someone else. He is especially threatened by her relationship with Travis.'

Prior to Kourtney, Barker had been married to Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. They share two biological kids Landon and Alabama and Barker had stepped up as a father figure to her eldest Atiana De La Hoya, from her relationship with Oscar De La Hoya.

Before that he was married to a woman named Melissa Kennedy for nine months. He filed for divorce in August 2002.
