What does A.I. say about Houston?
Houston offers an attractive cost of living compared to many other big cities across America. The median home value is only $185,100 while gasoline prices tend to stay below national averages during most months due to access local refineries and abundant resources within Texas itself. Rent also remains at an affordable level with one-bedroom apartments averaging around $901 per month. In terms of groceries and entertainment, costs are both reasonable although it should be noted that taxes on products can vary greatly depending on what part of Texas you live in - sales tax alone ranges from 8-8.25%. All told though Houston provides a combination of comfortable housing options coupled with low prices on everyday items which makes it a great place for those looking for good value without sacrificing too much convenience or quality-of-life considerations.

I moved to Houston from the San Francisco Bay area in 1991 after college but I have always had family here. Houston is not what you think of when you think of Texas  More

There's definitely lots of jobs/economic opportunity. It's quite racially diverse if that's your thing. Houston has awful urban sprawl. Expect awful traffic. Hot as hell  More
