Director James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water aka Avatar 2 released in theaters worldwide in December 2022, and now the film is all set to make its digital premiere worldwide as well. In India, Avatar: The Way of Water will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The movie's OTT release date has been officially announced to be June 7, 2023 [Wednesday].

Avatar: The Way of Water is set 10 years after the events of its prequel and follows Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a human who is now a full-time Na'vi and has started a family with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). The Sullys have two sons - Neteyam (Jamie Flatters) and Lo'ak (Britain Dalton), a daughter named Tuk (Trinity Jo-Li Bliss), and are also guardians of Kiri (Sigourney Weaver), the offspring of Weaver's character from the first film.

Na'vi version of Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), comes back with a group of former-human-now-Na'vi soldiers for revenge against Jake Sully. Jake takes his family to a region of Pandora run by Tonowari (Cliff Curtis) - the leader of a water clan named Metkayina, and his wife Kate Winslet. What happens next forms the rest of this 192 minute movie.
