Dr. Anthony Fauci Told Mila Kunis He Orders Takeout A Few Times A Week
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, recently told CNN about a call he had with around 36 celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, and Kim Kardashian.
When asked by Mila Kunis, Dr. Fauci said he does order takeout frequently and views it as a duty to help struggling restaurants.

Dr. Fauci recently told CNN about a call he had with around 36 celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, and Kim Kardashian (the last of whom organized the call) around the end of April. Their aim was to inform these celebrities about the importance of social distancing, but also to answer any questions they had about COVID-19 and how to stay safe.
One of the questions, asked by Mila, was about the safety of take-out food, according to Fauci, which if you don't know, is one of the safest things you can do, especially with no-contact delivery. Fauci said that, yes, he does order takeout frequently and in fact, he views it as a duty to help struggling restaurants.
"I told her I feel badly about restaurants losing business, and I feel it's almost a neighborly obligation to keep neighborhood restaurants afloat, so even though I can cook at home, several nights a week I go out for takeout purely to support those places," Fauci recalled to CNN.
She then asked if she should be scooping food out onto a plate or using the takeout container, and, BTW, Dr. Fauci said you can do either, as long as you wash your hands. According to a CNN source, Fauci said, "Mila, listen, don't be paranoid!"
"And then her husband, Ashton Kutcher, said 'That's it—I'm ordering a pizza—finally!' And then he took out his cell phone and pretended to order a pizza," he continued.
