Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood and chances are you know at least a but of their story. They're like high school friends who went off into the world and found each other again … except that their high school was the set of the popular hit TV show, "That 70's Show."
The on-again, off-again onscreen couple is now happily married with two kids. Here's a complete timeline of their Hollywood relationship.
1998: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher met as castmates for "That 70's Show."
Before they were cast, Mila had booked commercials and small parts in films like "Gia" and Ashton had built up a modeling career, most notably for Calvin Klein. Probably at the table read for the pilot, Kunis and Kutcher met at ages 14 and 19 in 1998.
Although cast as high schoolers, the casting director required actors to be 18 years old. In the now-legendary Hollywood story, when Kunis was asked about her age, she replied that she was turning 18… but failed to give a date. Once they found out she'd lied about her age, they were already so impressed by her talent, they let her stay.
1998: They had their first (onscreen) kiss.
Mila's very first kiss ever was a scripted kiss to Kutcher as their characters Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso. In 2001, she revealed to PEOPLE that they were practically strangers at the time and she had a crush on him!
"I was like, ‘Oh, he's so cute, it's the Calvin Klein model! ...Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?' I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him."
Ashton had no idea it was Mila's first kiss.
Despite the intimate nature of their characters, the age difference apparently kept them from developing true romantic feelings toward each other.
Kurtwood Smith, who played Red Forman on the show told E!, "Of course they played boyfriend and girlfriend, but they had completely separate lives … Mila was a kid. That was awkward for Ashton at the beginning. He was like 19 and she was like 14 or 15."
If anything, Ashton had more of a big brother influence on her. "Yeah, I did her chemistry homework for her … She was like my little sister."
2005: Ashton Kutcher left "That 70's Show."
After seven seasons, Ashton did not renew his contract for the eighth season of "That 70's Show." He stuck around for the first four episodes of season eight before departing with Topher Grace. Though this effectively ended his in-person contact with Mila, the cast has admitted on several occasions to being extremely close.
"We're such a big part of each other's lives, you know what I mean? It's almost that we're never gonna leave each other's lives," Wilder Valderrama, who played Fez, told FOX.
Mila admitted to Elle that "we'd always kept in touch on like AIM… so we always kept in touch since after '70s. We'd pop up on each other's thing and be like "Hey, oh my god! How are you? How's life?" "Like everything's good!" "Great!" [I wasn't thinking about him romantically], no, not at all!"
September 24, 2005: Ashton Kutcher married Demi Moore.
January 2011: Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin split up.
Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin were in an extremely private relationship from 2002-2011.

Ashton wrote on Twitter, "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail."
January 15, 2012: They reconnected at the 69th Golden Globe Awards.
"I was looking around, and there was a really beautiful man from the back," she said to Marc Maron on his podcast. "I was literally like, ‘Oh, he's kinda hot.' … And then he turned around, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, it's Kutch.' I thought it was the weirdest thing that I was checking this guy out, and it was someone that I had known forever."
Mila finally had the hots for him over a decade later. They ended up talking and Ashton invited her to his Hollywood Hills Housewarming Party.
January 2012: They had their first (offscreen) kiss at Ashton Kutcher's Housewarming Party.
Mila and Ashton spoke to Elle about their experiences at the party.
"I think I was smoking cigarettes at the time, and I was still a smoker," Kutcher said. "And she had quit smoking and she was like, she wanted me to like shotgun a cigarette smoke so she could breathe it in and I was like, 'All right.' And I started doing this. And gradually through the night, it got closer and closer and closer … It was kind of obvious that things were happening."
Mila revealed that Kutcher was originally trying to set her up with his friend at the house party before the two of them started kissing. "So then we end up having a lot of talks about how this is a huge mistake and how he needs to go and be single and I need to go and be single. It was super private for a very long time."
January 2012: They started hooking up regularly.
She revealed on WTF with Marc Maron that they started hooking up in early 2012.
"It was the first time ever that I ever slept over at a guy's house since becoming single. He didn't let me leave. At two in the morning, I was like 'I'm going to call an Uber.' And he was like, 'You're crazy' and I was like, "BYE." When I was single, I was so adamant about never staying at a guy's house, that I was like peacing out. And he was like, 'You're not leaving.' And that was the first time [I didn't.]
"I did a movie called 'Friends With Benefits.' He did a movie that was very similar called 'No Strings Attached.' We lived our movies out. We were just like, let's just hook up. Let's have fun. We're both single. We both trust each other. Everything's great."
April 2012: They moved in together.
"Three months later, I was like, 'This isn't fun anymore.'" Mila later said. "We were always open. We were incredibly open with one another in regard to like where we were with our feelings. We found out we would literally attempt to see other people and then like that night we'd be like, 'Hey, what are you up to? Wanna come over?' It ended up being just having fun to genuinely wanting [more]— when I realized I was nervous [about him going out with someone else and me losing him], was when I spoke to him. I was like, I don't like this anymore.
"I was like, you know what, I actually care about you. I don't want to mess anything up so I'm just going to walk away before it becomes too much," she remembered. "And he was like, ‘Got it.' And the next day, he showed up to my house and he was like, ‘Move in with me' and I said, ‘OK.'"
"If we just paid attention to these movies [we did], we should know s--- like this does not work out in real life," Kunis said on Maron.

July 4, 2015: Ashton and Mila got married.
"Commitment sounded great, but I didn't believe in marriage," Mila explained to Elle. "I grew up in West Hollywood, and my brother has reminded me that when I was like 12, I said, 'When gay people can get married, then I'll get married.' I was ahead of my time. The Supreme Court decision [on same-sex marriage came down], and that's when Ashton and I got married."
They married in Oak Glen, California.
