David Corenswet’s New Superman Suit Revealed Officially and Fans Aren’t Happy

David Corenswet's New Superman Suit Revealed and People Are Not Exactly Happy

Since the announcement of David Corenswet being cast as Superman was made, people wanted to take a look at how he would look in the Superman suit. However, his final look for the movie was kept under a deep cover but that has been changed since James Gunn and DC Studios have finally revealed the first look of David Corenswet as Superman in his new Superman suit. Now, the good part is the reveal but the bad part is, that people are not exactly happy with the look.

Now as you can see David Coresnwet indeed looks good in the suit but according to netizens, the quality of the suit seems to be pretty downgraded. The biggest problem here is that if you look at the Superman symbol on David’s chest, it looks as if the suit is kinda baggy. The design seems to be heavily inspired by The New 52 Superman Suit and the suit we see in the My Adventures With Superman animated show.

While most people are happy with how David looks in the suit, some people are heavily criticizing it. Some even called this suit to be AI-generated to which, James Gunn had to comment on his Instagram post to clarify that it indeed is a camera-taken picture.

One X user commented under DC’s official post, “Is this supposed to look like bad AI?” while another said, “It looks like the suit doesn’t even fit him. It looks baggy.

Another factor in play here could be people’s unwillingness to accept a new actor as Superman.

Whatever the reason could be, as far as I feel, it does not look that bad and since this is just the first image of it, there’s a possibility that James Gunn might just fix the new Superman suit based on how people responded.

What is your point of view on this? Do let me know in the comments!

‘Apple Pencil Pro’ Could Be Unveiled at ‘Let Loose’ iPad Event

Apple Pencil Pro leak

Tomorrow is the day when Apple will finally unveil its much-awaited new iPads. This will be Apple’s first event of 2024 where the giant will refresh its iPad Pro and iPad Air lineup. Yes, Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ event on May 7 will mainly focus on iPads, but if we look at the logo, a new Apple Pencil is expected too, and now there’s a hint for it as well.

Apple’s website sheds light on what to expect. The code on Apple’s official website for Japan has revealed multiple mentions of the name “Apple Pencil Pro.” All the mentions are in the page source and developer views of the site, with no publicly visible references yet. This was first shared by an X (aka Twitter) user.

Interestingly, Apple’s Let Loose event invite also features an Apple Pencil with the company’s logo. In the morning, Apple updated its website for the upcoming event and added an erasable ‘Let Loose’ logo, indicating that we might see some announcements related to Apple Pencil at the event.

Currently, Apple sells three generations of Apple Pencil. These are Apple Pencil (1st-generation), Apple Pencil (2nd-generation), and Apple Pencil (USB-C). The anticipated “Apple Pencil Pro” would be a new as-yet-unannounced addition to the Apple Pencil lineup.

It’s worth knowing that there are no mentions of the Apple Pencil Pro in the code for the US version of the website. Considering this, there are two possibilities. First, it could be an unfortunate copy error on the Japanese site. Second, it could be an accidental slip-up and a solid tip that Apple is planning to upgrade its stylus lineup tomorrow.

Well, let’s put aside this name confusion for a minute. Whatever the name is, the good news is that we’re going to see a new Apple Pencil along with new iPads. For quite some time, there have been rumors that the new Apple Pencil would arrive with visionOS support and a new “squeeze” gesture for a more precise drawing experience.

Alongside the new Apple Pencil, Apple is likely to announce new iPad Air and iPad Pro models. The new iPad Pro is expected to be a massive upgrade with cutting-edge OLED displays, the much-capable M4 chip, and an improved design. Coming to the new Air, Apple is likely increasing the size of its mid-range iPad lineup with the introduction of the first-ever 12.9-inch iPad Air.

Apple’s Let Loose event kicks off May 7 at 7 AM Pacific Time. Stay tuned for all the important updates.

Minecraft’s Enchanting Table Deserves Some Love, Mojang! (Here are Some Ideas)

Enchanting table and the plains biome in the background in Minecraft

Minecraft is chock full of all kinds of blocks. However, one of the most important blocks is the enchanting table. Sadly, the table isn’t shown enough love, as its mechanics are fairly outdated and definitely need a rework. Nonetheless, I feel it is a block that deserves attention and can be made into something a whole lot more. So keep reading as I sit down and tell you what I and many other community members think about the enchanting table and the improvements it needs!

Minecraft’s Enchanting Table: The Bad

In order to understand why the enchanting table needs a rework, I need to first tell you some of its main problems. Do note that these issues focus on the enchanting table block itself and not the whole enchanting system in the game.

1. Enchanting Is Too Random, Tedious and Time-Consuming

I’ll begin with my biggest pet peeve for the enchanting table. The simple fact is that it’s way too random. From the first enchantment that is applied to all the subsequent ones, everything about the table works on what I think is an RNG system.

This naturally makes the enchanting table tedious and frustrating, as nothing is certain. You might be grinding for levels and lapis only to get terrible enchantments that you’ll scrap immediately.

Player enchanting a pickaxe and getting only unbreaking III

The entire enchanting table is luck-based. So, if you’re fortunate, you’ll get almost perfect enchantments immediately. However, if you’re not, you’ll waste a long time simply rerolling the table to get at least decent enchantments.

This is especially annoying in the early game when you don’t have an XP farm or a source of basic materials. Every wasted enchanting session makes you want never to use the enchanting table again.

As you can see, I’m not the only Minecraft player who thinks this way. Many others have shared their opinions online, calling the enchanting table “flawed” and in dire need of a rework. While I understand and even appreciate factoring in luck for enhancements, I also feel there needs to be a certain level of certainty to it all!

2. Rerolling Isn’t Obvious and Costs a Ton of Levels

I’ve mentioned rerolling in the previous section, but what does that mean? Rerolling is basically you enchanting a random item or book with the lowest level enchantment available, so you only spend one lapis and one level. This will reroll the enchanting table and offer three new enchantment slots, out of which the first enchantment is the only thing players can go by.

“Rerolling” is, therefore, very important as it saves levels, resources, and sanity. However, how obvious is this to new players? Well, not that much. While you can figure out this mechanic on your own, this chaos only adds to the absurd nature of the enchanting table. Sadly, this also means many players will end up wasting a lot of levels, which are not easy to come by in the early game.

Veteran Minecraft players already know that the enchanting table needs 15 bookshelves. Placing them around the enchanting table fuels it and allows for better enchantments. However, just like rerolling, new players are not aware of this at all!

Bookshelves in Minecraft have no clear indication of importance, which obviously leads to many using the default low-level enchantments. This block’s need for bookshelves to provide better “knowledge” is great and adds to the game’s lore. However, I find the entire execution pretty bad and needs change.

4. The Table Pales in Comparison to Enchanted Books

Villagers and enchanted books

As you might be seeing yourself, the enchanting table is simply not as worth it as items like enchanted books. These books can be easily obtained from villagers and have a very specific enchantment. Grinding villagers out in the first place will take a lot of time, but once the trading hall is up and running, you don’t ever need to look at the enchanting table again.

The only downside would be the “too expensive” cap inside the anvil. The enchanting table should be the main source of enchantments, though. It has the incredible benefit of providing three amazing enchantments on your item for the cost of just three levels and three lapis lazuli.

The enchanting table is a fantastic concept, and Minecraft won’t be what it is without it. However, as it stands now, the enchanting table doesn’t provide as many advantages as trading with villagers and combining enchantments in an anvil does.

Thankfully, community members have been hard at work. One Reddit user has summed up all the enchanting mechanic issues in general, taking into account both the table and villagers. They created sections for the problems and their proposals. If you’re as frustrated with the entire thing, then I suggest you check the thread below.

But How Do You Improve the Enchanting Table?

Now that we have discussed the table’s issues, let’s try to break down how the enchanting table in Minecraft can be fixed.

1. We Need a Reroll Button

My first suggestion is that the enchanting table gets a very obvious reroll button in its UI that will provide a new set of enchantment-filled slots with just a single click. This would mostly take care of the two first issues I mentioned above. This would help save a ton of time during the enchanting process. And it would obviously not cause incredible amounts of frustration that it does now.

I know it seems rather overpowered, so maybe it wouldn’t be free. Every reroll would cost something like lapis lazuli. However, the button itself cannot fix the enchanting table’s randomness, leading me to my next point.

2. Display All Possible Enchantments for a Slot

I believe the guessing game about whether you’ll get something more than unbreaking III or not should be gone. Every slot should display precisely what enchantments it would add to the item. I believe this would completely fix the randomness issue the enchanting table has.

Conversely, I’d also like to add that I think RNG is a great mechanic in video games, as it adds a lot of fun and replayability. However, like everything else in life, too much of anything is bad. That’s exactly what the enchanting table is going through. So, while the randomness won’t go away, it’ll be just enough.

The number of enchantments would be randomized, but at least you can see them in advance instead of making an expensive gamble. There could also be additional aspects behind it, such as planning and strategizing.

3. The Table Can Fuel Items to Favor Certain Enchantments

While researching, I’ve also come across suggestions geared towards limiting the enchanting table’s offers even further by providing a sacrifice. For example, a slot in the UI could accept a certain precious item, like a gold ingot or a diamond.

This improvement would simply make the enchanting table more likely to show certain enchantments in Minecraft. This Reddit post goes in-depth on how certain items would affect enchanting, and you should definitely check it out.

Furthermore, another community member has shared their thoughts on the subject through this interesting and eye-opening Reddit post. Their suggestion is related to brand new items called runes you would get from the trial chambers in 1.21.

4. Additional Feature Like Removing One Enchantment

Since the enchanting table is such an important part of Minecraft, it should definitely be buffed with a brand-new mechanic. I suggest it may be able to remove a single enchantment off a tool only once for the cost of a rare item like an Echo Shard (this is just an example).

So, if you enchant a sword and get an unbreaking, sweeping edge and smite but also have a book with sharpness and fire aspect, then it would be fantastic if you could remove the smite enchantment to apply sharpness to the sword. This seems rather OP, and that’s why it would be possible to do it only once per item. Moreover, it would most likely be useful only in certain situations.

This addition would also give the enchanting table an exclusive use, making it truly valuable to have around. It may even remove curses, but the process would be more expensive.

5. The Enchanting Table Should Be More Beginner-Friendly

Many things in Minecraft could be made more beginner-friendly, but the enchanting table specifically needs it. In practice, this could mean a bar inside the table’s UI with a bookshelf symbol above it, indicating that it requires this block. Upon placing bookshelves around, the bar would start filling up.

Many people have issues with the enchanting table not showing max enchantments even though bookshelves are around it. The updated version of the UI hinted at this. A more beginner-friendly enchanting table could solve this problem.

As you can tell by now, I had a lot to say about the Enchanting Table. Despite my rant about its problems, I do believe the Enchanting Table is an amazing block that deserves a lot of love. There are even more disadvantages, but I focused on the main ones. I believe my suggestions are clean and will fit into vanilla Minecraft very well.

But what is your opinion? Do you think the enchanting table needs some more love? What would your ideas be for it? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

Who is the Sith Lord in Star Wars: The Acolyte

Star Wars Acolyte New Sith

Throughout the lore of Star Wars, the one major conflict that has dictated the entire franchise is the dynamic between The Force and The Dark Side of The Force. Two factions represent each of them, The Jedi Order and The Sith Order respectively. However, throughout time, the Dark Side has been the driving force of other factions like The Empire and The First Order. Star Wars: The Acolyte takes us to the first of these orders, i.e. The Sith Order, and will show us the origin of it. In the trailer for Star Wars Acolyte, we see a Sith Lord Whose identity has not been revealed to us and in this article, I bring forward my best guess on who is The Sith Lord in Star Wars: Acolyte.

The Sith Lord in The Acolyte Could Be Darth Plagueis

As the lead villain in Star Wars: The Acolyte was revealed, some people assumed that it could be a young Palpatine. However, this theory is kind of impractical since the events happening in Star Wars: The Acolyte took place more than 100 years ago before we got introduced to Palpatine. However, In Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith, Palpatine talks about his Master, Darth Plagueis who was so strong with the Dark Side of The Force that he could control death.

The Sith Lord we see in the trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte could be Darth Plagueis because according to the timeline, he would fit perfectly when The Acolyte is taking place. In the trailer, we see a terrifying villain wearing a zipped mask, and the trailer ends right where Master Sol asks the villain “What are you?”. The villain, who I am assuming to be Darth Plagueis, would be the Sith Lord of the High Republic Era and will have some extraordinary powers.

Another guess I have is Ajunta Pall. Since The Acolyte is most probably dealing with the origin of The Sith Order, the main antagonist of the series could be the first Sith Lord, Ajunta Pall.

However, these are just assumptions based on the details we could scavenge from the trailer and the overall Star Wars timeline. If they bring in one of these characters that would be pretty cool but there is a possibility that we might get to see a brand-new character altogether. What do you guys think about this? Let me know in the comments and while we wait for July 4, 2024, stay tuned!

Should You Pull Clorinde in Genshin Impact 4.7

Should you pull for Clorinde in Genshin Impact

Clorinde is a very strong electro-DPS character and she will release in Genshin Impact 4.7. She continues the Bond of Life focused mechanic, similar to Arlecchino, and her kit appears to be very strong. However, there are many great DPS characters in the Genshin Impact, so players are questioning whether it is worth pulling for Clorinde. If you are unsure of whether to Pull for Clorinde or not, here is the complete guide on her strengths and weaknesses, alongside comparisons with other DPS units.

Genshin Impact Clorinde Kit

Clorinde Genshin Impact kit

Clorinde’s kit revolves around Bond of Life, increasing her damage output based on the Bond of Life percentage. Her Skill lets her enter the Night Watch State, infusing her Normal Attacks with Electro and letting the Normal Attacks generate Bond of Life. It also changes her Skill into a lunging attack with various Bond of Life modifiers.

She can gain Bond of Life through her enhanced Normal Attacks, her Elemental Burst, and when she receives healing. Depending on the percentage of her Bond of Life, she has increased Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Damage dealt, and healing.

Clorinde vs Other DPS Characters in Genshin Impact

Clorinde is going to be a very strong DPS character in Genshin Impact, probably one of the strongest if her kit doesn’t get nerfed before her release. Now, let’s see how she compares to other DPS units in the game.

  • Clorinde vs Arlecchino: Having both of these characters releasing very close to each other, with arguably a similar kit mechanic of Bond of Life, you will definitely want to know who is better. So far, Clorinde’s kit seems easier to play as her self healing appears more viable than Arlecchino. Other than that, Electro is such a strong element in the game, that it can easily do crazy damage output in the correct teams. So far, it appears as if Clorinde is going to be on the same level as Arlecchino, if not stronger.
  • Clorinde vs Raiden Shogun: Compared to Raiden Shogun, again both their numbers are very comparable. However, Raiden Shogun is a much more versatile character than Clorinde and can act as a sub-DPS, main DPS or Support in different teams, while Clorinde must be the main DPS to be of use.

Best Team Synergies for Clorinde

Image Courtesy: Hoyoverse/Genshin Impact (Edited by Sanmay Chakrabarti)

Clorinde can work in many different teams, as Electro is such a versatile element. Her best teams appear to be Aggravate teams, however, you can also play her in Quickbloom teams, Electro-charged teams, and Overload teams. She is a versatile enough unit that you don’t need to worry much about her team composition when pulling for her.

However, remember that Clorinde can only play as a main DPS and not as a sub-DPS or support, like Raiden Shogun. So, only go for her if you want an Electro DPS in your roster.

Does Clorinde Need Her Signature Weapon?

Best Clorinde Weapon Genshin Impact

Clorinde’s signature weapon looks very strong, giving her a big Crit Damage boost and Bond of Life increase. However, she is strong enough without her Signature weapon, although it can be a good choice if you really go for it.

Clorinde has some very good weapon options in the game, both free-to-play and other 5-star weapons. Also, having Bond of Life weapons won’t do you any bad, as the trend in Natlan will likely be around the Bond of Life mechanic.

Should You Pull for Clorinde?

Clorinde Genshin Impact

Now that you have taken a look at everything Clorinde provides, let’s boil everything down to her strengths and weaknesses.

Clorinde’s Strengths:

  • Great consistent damage output.
  • Bond of Life is easier to manage on her.
  • Versatile with her team synergies.

Clorinde’s Weaknesses:

  • Cannot receive healing while having Bond of Life.
  • Has no Elementary Scaling.
  • Can only work as a Main DPS.

Overall, I think Clorinde is a great character to invest in your Primogems. Her kit is very strong and she is comparatively easy to play. Her Constellations are also strong if you want to go all in on her. Share your thoughts on Clorinde in the comment section and tell us if you are planning to pull for her in 4.7.

Foldable iPhone Is Real and Apple Is Reportedly Looking at 2026 Release for It

Iphone-photos-4

Apple is reportedly gearing up its development plans on foldable devices, according to a recent investor note spotted by 9to5Mac. The Cupertino tech giant has plans to enter the foldable devices space with a 20.3-inch MacBook-iPad Hybrid and a foldable iPhone.

The Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu sheds some light on Apple’s roadmap for embracing the foldable technology. The giant is expected to begin mass production of a 20.3-inch foldable device in late 2025, followed by a foldable iPhone in late 2026.

Well, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors about Apple’s foray into the foldable space. For a long time, we have been hearing rumors that Apple is working on a foldable iPhone. Earlier, there were suggestions that a foldable iPhone might enter the market in 2023. However, these plans were delayed until 2025.

Foldable iPhone Is Real and Apple Is Reportedly Looking at 2026 Release for It

Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo hinted at the development of a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook, which might make its debut sometime in 2027. Similarly, display analyst Ross Young also reported about Apple’s progress on a 20-inch foldable hybrid device, expected to hit the markets in 2026 or 2027. Mark Gurman also corroborated this saying Apple is “exploring a dual-screen, foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid.”

Now, the recent reports from Jeff Pu’s indicate that Apple has accelerated its work in the foldable devices realm. Based on the supply chain checks, there’s an “increasing visibility” of Apple’s foldable devices. Pu further states that Apple’s exciting and expensive foldable lineup would directly target the “ultra high-end market.” With these premium offerings, Apple aims to redefine the standards of luxury in the foldable tech industry.

Apple is reportedly exploring two screen sizes for foldable iPhones: 7.9 inches and 8.3 inches. With the introduction of foldable iPhones, Apple aims to deliver a perfect combination of portability and functionality.

Again, the mass production of the reported 20.3-inch “foldable device” will commence in late 2025. We can expect the foldable iPhone to arrive in late 2026.

These rumors seem to be damn exciting. If they turn out to be true, Apple may set new benchmarks and redefine the future of foldable technology. Even though Apple is unapologetically slow in embracing new hardware and technology, it always comes up with the best implementation. So, we might finally get to see an amazing lineup of Apple foldables. Since the giant has plans to cater to the ultra-high-end markets, the hopes are high as well.

It’s worth mentioning that these timelines are rumors for now. We’ll get a concrete idea in the coming months when some other sources corroborate these timelines. Until then, imagine how capable Apple foldables could be.

I don’t know if it’s just me or the round today, but it’s as if the words were deliberately trying to break free from the shackles of those grids. I found GOLD, SILVER, COPPER, and ARSENIC way too quickly. That also helped me find HEAVYMETAL as the vertical Spangram for the day.

Being more than halfway through the game already, the last couple of grids didn’t pose a challenge either. First, I found ANTIMONY in the rightmost grids. Then, in the leftmost grid, there was BISMUTH. That concluded my Strands for today, and well, didn’t use any hints either.

What about you? Did you do better or worse than me at today’s round? Do let me know in the comments down below!

On top of everything, the raw information that comes directly from the fan-favorite band members is something that grabbed a lot of attention from the worldwide fandom.

6. 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: November 29, 2021
  • Runtime: 1 hour 41 minutes
  • IMDb: 7.3

This documentary on Netflix follows a Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal Purja who vowed to climb the 14 most challenging mountains of the World. At the beginning of the documentary, we see him heading toward Annapurna, the most dangerous peak in the world. He not only showed courage for himself but also for his teammates. We also see him become an inspiration for some other mountaineering experts like Don Bowie.

From the cinematography to the editing, nothing about the documentary fails to impress. 14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible is also one such documentary that teaches you how to keep going even in the hardest situations. Moreover, Nirmal Purja and his peers are not the only ones who face the ups and downs in the film; every viewer goes through the same experience.

7. Hitler: A Career

Hitler: A Career

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: April 4, 2017
  • Runtime: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • IMDb: 7.5

We all know about Adolf Hitler for the atrocities he committed against Jews during World War 2, but very few people know about his life and how he became the dictator of Nazi Germany. Well, the documentary film focuses on Hitler’s rise to power and his psychology. The film also lets you know exactly what circumstances led most German people to support Hitler.

Of course, the use of real footage and the complete omission of the Holocaust made several viewers criticize the film and label it as propaganda. That being said, it is indeed a film that answers several “why” questions that you might have about Hitler.

8. Sr.

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: December 2, 2022
  • Runtime: 89 minutes
  • IMDb: 7.2

We all know about Robert Downey Jr., our beloved Iron Man, who struggled to find his way out of drug addiction and became one of the most beloved Hollywood actors of all time. However, not many of us know about the actor’s father, Robert Downey Sr. The documentary film, Sr., fills that gap by giving us an in-depth look inside of Robert Downey Sr.’s life, specifically his career and the complex relationship he had with his son, Robert Jr.

Sr. was an incredible director of his time who was known for his artistic approach to filmmaking. However, the documentary, which, interestingly, was Robert Downey Jr.’s idea to get to know his dad better, focuses on Sr.’s life. He has a funny and charming personality, the reflection of which we see in Downey Jr.

9. Father Soldier Son

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: July 17, 2020
  • Runtime: 99 minutes
  • IMDb: 7.3

We have seen several movies, TV shows, and, in fact, documentaries about military life; however, I can confidently say that Father Soldier Son is one of the most special ones. The documentary focuses on the life of Brian Eisch, who was once a Sgt. First Class in the US Army. Obviously, we all know the mental impact a military life has on a Soldier, but this documentary goes even further by breaking all walls and showing the full life of Brian.

Brian was deployed in Afghanistan and lost his leg in an unfortunate incident. The documentary shows how Brian dealt with that pain and the impact it had on his wife and three sons. Seeing how Brian hides his anger inside of him for his entire life just for the sake of his sons is an unforgettable and heartbreaking experience.

10. Dying To Tell

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: June 22, 2019
  • Runtime: 87 minutes
  • IMDb: 6.8

We aren’t unaware of the lives journalists lead, especially the ones assigned to cover wars, and Dying To Tell has been made to pay tribute to such brave personas. It focuses on the Argentine-Italine war reporter, Hernán Zin, whose life changes completely after he meets with an accident. Dying To Tell reveals the traumatizing emotions a journalist goes through while facing horrifying situations.

The documentary also shows the interviews of several prestigious war correspondents who talk about their sacrifices and traumas for the first time before the camera.

11. Wild Wild Country

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: March 16, 2018
  • Runtime: 71 minutes
  • IMDb: 8.1

Wild Wild Country is an incredible documentary that focuses on the life of Osho, the most prominent Indian cult leader who went to the US. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, or Osho, was a controversial figure even in India for his remarks about sexuality and unusual meditation practices. For that reason alone, Osho and his followers settled in the US, but things didn’t go well for them. Over time, Osho started getting all sorts of negative attention from the local people.

Osho’s life and death have always been mysteries, and no one really knows what happened to him in the US. Well, the Netflix documentary answers that same question. The series focuses on Osho’s rise to power and the obsession Ma Anand Sheela, Osho’s PA, had with the guru and the cult. I can’t confirm that you’ll start to understand Osho a little better after watching the documentary, but you’ll definitely start hating Ma Anand Sheela after you’re done with the series.

12. Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes

  • Format: TV Series
  • Release Date: October 7, 2022
  • Episodes: 3
  • IMDb: 7.3

The story of Dahmer and his killings is so horrific that Netflix had to make two shows around it, but in this post, I’ll be talking about the infamous documentary Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes.

Dahmer was, in a sense, the incarnation of the devil who murdered around 16 males for his pleasure. Dahmer mainly targeted people of color or gay men and lured them to his apartment. He was charred for multiple crimes, including Cannibalism and Necrophilia. Most of us know about his crimes, but not many of us know about the man himself. Well, the documentary series uses the confession tapes and archived footage to let us know about Dahmer’s psychology. Interestingly, the series also shows us how the police’s ignorance led Dahmer to target the minority in Wisconsin.

13. Our Father

  • Format: Film
  • Release Date: September 30, 2020
  • Runtime: 1 hour 37 minutes
  • IMDb: 6.6

Netflix’s Our Father sheds more light on the crimes committed by Donald Cline, who was once the most popular (possibly the only) infertility doctor in Indianapolis. Cline deceived countless of his patients by impregnating them with his sperm. When found guilty, it was disclosed that Cline had 94 children living within the 25-mile radius who didn’t even know that Clive was their father.

The documentary series shows how these people come to realize the truth about Clive and its impact on their lives. They didn’t know if the person they were passing by on the streets was related to them. It’s a documentary that shows how a single person’s misuse of power and position can ruin multiple lives.

14. Unsolved Mysteries

  • Format: TV Series
  • Release Date: July 1, 2020
  • Episodes: 21
  • IMDb: 7.3

We keep on hearing about several cases that remain unsolved sometimes due to the lack of evidence or other reasons. Unsolved Mysteries is a documented version of such real cases involving ordinary people or supernatural beings. What made this docuseries special is the involvement of the director of the original 1987’s ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ and the popular sci-fi ‘Stranger Things’ producer.

Generally, the reboot projects fail to win the hearts of the loyal fans of the franchise because they start comparing them with the original ones. However, the stereotype has been proved wrong by Netflix as Unsolved Mysteries (the documentary) managed to maintain the old aesthetic by also bringing something new to the table.

15. Don’t F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer

  • Format: TV Series
  • Release Date: December 18, 2019
  • Episodes: 3
  • IMDb: 8

What happens when a man posts a video on the internet showing how he brutally killed two cats? Well, the entire world starts looking for him. The documentary series shows how some amateur internet users launched an international manhunt for Luka Magnotta for killing two kittens by suffocating them and posting a video of it on Facebook.

When these videos came to everyone’s attention, they knew that Luka Magnotta was a ticking time bomb that could later kill a human being. Well, that’s exactly what happens, as Luka later killed Jun Lin, an international student in Canada, by brutally stabbing him. It’s an incredible yet emotionally scarring documentary series that’ll make you feel immense hatred for the man while also fearing the possibility of passing by such psychopaths when you go out.
