Harry Maguire news

Maguire set to be fit for Coventry clash

Manchester United have been handed an injury boost with Harry Maguire expected to be fit for Sunday’s Wembley showdown against Coventry City.

The Red Devils have had plenty of injury concerns this campaign and they are currently without six senior defenders for the FA Cup semi-final.

Out of those, they are missing four central defenders in Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans.

Maguire also suffered a thigh injury scare against Bournemouth last weekend, but he is expected to be fit to face the Sky Blues.

The Englishman is set to be partnered by Willy Kambwala, who will be aiming to make amends after his mistake at the weekend.

His slip contributed to the opening goal scored by Dominic Solanke. It proved costly in the end as the league game ended 2-2.

United are clear favourites against Coventry on Sunday, but they can’t underestimate their opponents who recently stunned Wolves.

Wolves were on course for a 2-1 comeback win at the Molineux Stadium, but Coventry shocked them with two late stoppage time goals.
