What travellers are saying
- LaurieChickArmstrong, Canada23 contributionsSuch an amazing place to go! Went to both the tulip festival and the sunflower festival and both are great. Awesome photo props and beautiful fields of flowers to walk through!Written March 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gardiner WVancouver, Canada453 contributionsNice ambiance on a warm summer day. Sat out in the shade under the umbrellas. Food a little on the pricey side (20 for a hot dog!) but quite tasty. Enoyed a flight of ciders which were again very tasty. Service was friendly and no issues there. Quite a busy spot...my GPS had difficulty locating the farm but the friendly folks at Armstrong tourist office were marvellousWritten September 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - landminesQuesnel, Canada33 contributionsThe venue was awesome, live music, the horses were in the show and there was many of them. You gotta love when a horse wants to walk or prance's faster then its partners. Great entertainment and great snacks, fresh popcorn and local made pepperoni and as well cider and beer beveragesWritten July 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 620BettyVernon, Canada2 contributionsA wonderful experience even with this Covid-19, easy drive-in, park and pick up with very secure service. A supergroup of friendly people. The best asparagus I have ever tasted, eaten raw it reminds me of fresh summer peas in the shell.Written May 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Todd NVernon, British Columbia, Canada56 contributionsThis place is very rustic. But, don't let that deter you. Our host (Russ) was quite friendly and informative. Despite not being a red wine drinker, he insisted that I try his reds if I was not allergic to them! I actually tasted a red that I would drink (smooth foch). All in all, a fun place to stop in for a tasting. Bonus, he let us bring our dog into the tasting room (their house).Written September 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ann HPlacencia, Belize18 contributionstThe art shows typically re of high quality and varied. If you are travelling through stop at the museum for a sense of the past of this attractive little city. Do not miss whatever show is on as there are a lot of really good local artists.Written October 3, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They were all sold out of bottles, but we were able to find it at the local wine & beer store close by. - Alan KKamloops, Canada239 contributionsMy wife and I love Farmers Markets and the one in Armstrong may be our favourite. B.C. is blessed with many great markets (i.e. Vancouver Island) but this one in Armstrong has many vendors with a perfect balance of veggies and fruit and craft goods. I believe this market is bigger than the one in Salmon Arm, a much bigger town. An old timy feel with music in the square makes for an excellent fall outing. Don't forget to visit the Armstrong Cheeze Factory and Farmstrong Craft Cidery...you will not regret it.Written September 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
