There are few words to express the deep pain and sorrow of losing, Jose I. Moreno, age 55, of Eola, Texas on Monday, August 29, 2022. Jose was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jose Moreno and Aurora Hernandez Moreno on November 19, 1966.
Jose I. Moreno will be sadly missed by his wife, Estanislada Moreno and his mother, Aurora Moreno and fondly remembered by his son, Felipe Muniz, Jr., and wife Elisa, his daughters, Patricia Martinez and husband, Joe Angel, and Tamie Marie Cavazos and husband Ray.
Jose will be forever remembered by his brothers, Frank Moreno, Armando Moreno, Pablo Moreno and sisters, Olga Reyna, Mary Montelongo, and Noemi Moreno.
Jose’s 15 grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life, and he has left a small token to each of them to remember him by and they will sorely miss their chewing gum treats.
Jose rejoins his loved ones who have predeceased him, his father, Jose Moreno, and brother Juan Moreno.
Jose lived a full and warm life, filled with joy and happiness. He was a kind man and had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all true Dallas Cowboy fans. Jose your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure and you will be missed beyond measure.
Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. led by Ernest Torres.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Mission, 11937 County Road # 5511, Eola, Texas, with Rev. Bala Anthony Govindu officiating, a committal service will follow at Eola Cemetery, Eola, Texas. Jose's family would like to thank Felipe Muniz, Jr., Armando Moreno, Kevin Harrison, Danny Reyna, Dario Montelongo, Carlos Adame, Martin Hernandez, and Joe Angel Martinez, for serving as pallbearers.
