I have had an Arlo Pro 2 for several yeasts and it’s worked great. Today I can no longer get into the app due to an unrecognized device. I finally got to a page showing devices and two old phones are there but not my Apple 15 that has been functioning for about 6 months with no issues. The access code is sent to one of the old phones that I no longer have so I get nowhere. Anyone know how to get my new phone added to the account so I can log in again?

When attempting to log in, choose the link below the default method that says something like Try A Different Method and choose the email method.

Hi,

 

I also have the same logging issue with my iPhone 15. It was working till early March from September last year.

suddenly the app won’t allow me to login saying unknown error.

 

i tried

1. suing forgot password and renewed my password 

2. it is not letting me to choose different verification methods to use email 

3. can be logged in with the web browser 

4. when logged in with web browser and check the trusted devices it shows my old iPhone 7 & 12. But not iPhone 15.

5. There’s no option working for to add iPhone 15 as a trusted device 

6. The apps are working well in iPhone 7 & 12 with my wife’s and son’s accounts 

7. tried to login from iPhone 12 using my account (my account is the admin account) but gave me the same “unknown error message “

 

hope good people can help me to fix this problem

Guru suggestion allowed me to at least get to my account where I figured out how to get to the page to accept my phone as not  recognized. It’s working but I don’t believe this is how Arlo intended for things to work. Not sure what I’ve given up by not having a recognized device.

Hi All,

 

I am able to solve the logging problem with following steps.

 

1. Logged in to my account from the web browser.

2. Settings

3. Profile

4. Two-step verification

5. Edit

6. Able to delete old iPhone 7 from the list of Trusted devises.

7. Immediately tried to log in using App in my iPhone 15. It had prompted me to trust this devise and follow the steps.

8. Then iPhone 15 appeared in Trusted devise list (When check from the web browser) and solved the problme.
