Numerous variety of apples and food items. Lots of parking and some great views of their gardens. Very easy trip and well worth it.
In our opinion, the baked goods in the bakery are definitely the best of the local apple houses. This has been the case for quite a few years now. The apple donuts are perfect and the apple caramel cookies a real treat each year. The helpful staff assists with questions about the apples themselves. We always get 1/2 peck for the two of us. A must stop during Sept/Oct. Sept is quieter with less people. Plenty of parking but it is dirt (not paved) for the most part. Clean car?? Not after a visit here..
One of the worst orchards I’ve been to. Staff was incredibly rude, they got rid of most activities for kids due to Covid, website says they are open til 6pm but everything shuts down at 4:30 except a cash register. With so many other orchards in the area, don’t waste your time here!
Used to be our favorite family orchard and part of our Labor Day family weekend. Without knowing we came to an empty playground with the attractions all gone where our grandkids love going. We arrived at four due to rain all day. I got in line for donuts and was outside the building in line for twenty minutes when I got around corner I heard the person in front of me being told there were more donuts I asked if there would be and was rudely told. We have apple slushies and chocolate chip cookies. The only thing for our kids to do was the cow train. We went down there forgetting we needed cash. So we went back up to cashier and again were rudely told it was too late. That was the last train. It was five. The website said they closed at six but don’t be mistaken they close before five. We left with sad little children and without buying all the apples and other items we usually do and we won’t return.
Great apple farm in real apple country (Hendersonville, NC, home of the Apple Festival). Large sales "room" (actually a barn). The apple cider was some of the best we've ever had. You can mix different varieties of apples picked from large barrels (o buy them by the bag). Lots of canned/jarred related products (like apple butter, etc). There is an apple pastry shop as well (and the smell wafting through the sales room will knock you over, so good). They also have a corn maze to explore (for a cost). Very friendly sales staff. It is very close to Hendersonville. The apple festival in early September will cause it to deal with huge crowds. Prices for apples and cider are in line with all the other area farms and reasonable enough. Canned and jarred products our a little more pricey
We have traded with grandads for years. Last week he sampled an apple for us and very sweet. Bought bag got home all very tart
