Sick of having to delete useless junk from maps.
Never again. Introducing 7 new Blank map scenarios. All rocks, desert patches, trees and grass clumps have been removed.

The download also contains the microscopic map, which was used in the Egypt learning Campaigns.

These maps would be incredibly useful for me if it wasn't for a couple of faults. The first fault I saw was the fact that all the scenarios where in the scx format. This means as a AoE designer I had to change them all to the scn format. This would have been fine and the rating would have been about 4.0 if it wasn't for the second fault. Dean mentioned on the forums that the files weren't working properly for him and as I was planning to use the one of these for my next scenario I thought I better test the map to make sure it did work. Unfortunately it didn't. I can not give something a high rating if it doesn't work. Therefore because of the fact that the files don't work I can not give a high rating. I have however gave 0.5 of a mark for effort (only because I can't give just 0.1).

Additional Comments:
This would be alright if the stuff worked but even then there is more that could be done. Such as not having a scx format. The scn format should always be used in blank maps as they can be read by both AoE and RoR not just RoR as is the case with the scx format. Also it would be great to see blank desert maps as well as the standard grass. Also this has only be tested with AoE and not RoR but if it doesn't work on AoE it is useless for me and therefore doesn't deserve a high rating.
