Its does have a distinct incline and that makes a curiosity worth visiting.

It was constructed in 1885 by Mr. Leong Choon Cheong and some Ceylonese contractors. It was purpose for water storage for emergency such as firefighting.

In the center of the city. This is well known landmark for the local and it was colorful during major festivities such as Chinese new year.

A famous landmark in Teluk Intan and is located in the centre of the town.

The leaning tower was first built to store water but over time it was repurposed and now is a petite museum.

Entrance is RM2.00 for adults and RM1.00 for children below 13.

Only 3 floors are accessible but each floor would have information about the history of the tower as well as Teluk Intan from the times of the Perak Sultanate through colonial rule and fast forward today.

Worth a visit , can converse with the building guard on 24/4/2022 , the history of the tower , how he he met us - the great grand children of the builder who built this tower. Now the building has been refurbished and a small sum for entrance fee for Adult and children.
A great building in Teluk Intan,

We visited this tower in the evening and again at night. There was a heavy storm around 7 pm and when we visited the tower at 8 pm, the lights on the tower did not change but stayed as orange. We missed the colouful display of lights after the storm. Too bad

We were fortunate to come when the tower was open. It's simple but well-kept and has an interesting history. The town square is very large but it's a busy place with several markets so parking can be a challenge. There was loud music being played which was distracting and unpleasant. If you happen to be driving nearby, it's worth a stop.

This is the most famous landmark in Teluk Intan , it’s signature . We came here during night time , the lighting beautify the tower . It’s more comfortable and cooling at night to stroll around here , during day time you can pay a visit inside the leaning tower , it’s only 3 floors , it’s actually a water reservoir.

Filled with people at night. Kids running around playing with the bubble stick. Night market situated just in front of the tower which is quite convenient. while it’s convenient to enjoy the view while eating/drinking, the road becomes congested as a result.

As the only main historical landmark at Teluk Intan, it’s definitely a must visit landmark as you’ll be able to learn a little about the landmark. Another positive is that it’s a good location to take some picture for Instagram. Apart from that, there’s nothing much to do here.

This is an interesting architecture built in the 1800s. A nice place to take pictures and admire the structure. You can climb up the building but not all the way to the top. There is an entry fee of RM1.00. Inside there are old pictures of the tower and some history. Good for a short visit and stopover.

It is not Pisa and I have never heard about another leaning tower, but it is one in Malaysia. It may not be all that impressive, but it is still over 100 years old and not a bad sight. If you are nearby, do not miss it.
