Synopsis[]
Demon King Academy Arc[]
While Anos was reborn as the mixed-blooded child of Gusta and Izabella, his root restored his true demon form immediately after his birth. As his parents were discussing what they should name him, Anos, having immediately inherited the memories from his previous life, stated that his name was Anos Voldigoad, which shocked his parents. Finding an infant's body inconvenient, he quickly uses Kurst to age himself into a child. Despite his odd behavior, Anos's parents assume that he is a prodigy of some sort and shower him with love and affection. Over time, Anos learns of the degradation of magic as well as the mixing of bloodlines that have occurred over the last 2,000 years.
One month later, Anos receives an invitation to the Demon King Academy. The messenger explains the academy's purpose, and deciding to attend, Anos uses Kurst again to age himself into a teenager. That night, Anos attempts to leave, only to be caught by his parents. He explains that he received an invitation to the academy, and his parents decide to go with him, to which Anos agrees.
Zepes mocking Anos and Misha
When going to the entrance exam, his parents loudly cheered on Anos. He then meets Misha Necron, who is also being cheered at. Before they can enter the building, Zepes Indu mocks them for coming to the exam with their parents, only for Anos to ignore him and keep walking. Anos then mocks his magic power, angering him to the point of using fire magic to try and intimidate Anos. However, Anos is unimpressed and casually blows out the fire with a sigh. Angered even more, the boy tries to fight Anos, but Anos tells him to wait, and Zepes freezes, unable to move his body. He and Misha went on but had to go to different sections.
Anos enhances his heartbeat
Upon entering the arena for the combat portion of the exam, it is revealed that his opponent is Zepes. As the match begins, Zepes tries to attack Arnos with his flaming demon sword, Zephrid, but Anos easily extinguishes the flames once again. Zepes then mocks Anos, leading Anos to proclaim that he will defeat Zepes without moving or activating magic circles. This infuriates Zepes, who tries to attack Anos again, only for blood to explode out of his body, and he falls to the ground. Anos explains that he used magic to enhance the sound of his heartbeat to damage Zepes's organs. Zepes declares that he won't give up and that the only way Anos could beat him is with compulsion magic.
Anos revives Zepes
Anos takes that as a challenge, and the two use Zecht to prevent Anos from using compulsion magic, with the match only ending if Zepes yields. Anos then flicks Zepes, causing his body to explode and scatter. He then uses Ingall to revive Zepes, only to kill him again. He does this twice in succession, even cracking a joke before Zepes gives up. Anos is then declared the winner of the match.
Leorg kills Zepes
A break before his next match is offered, but Anos declines. He then sees Zepes killed by his older brother Leorg. Anos says that weakness is not a good reason for him to kill his brother, but Leorg argues that losing to one of mixed blood makes him a failure. Leorg then explains that royals hold the Founder's blood and are thereby superior. Anos mocks this mindset, and Leorg asks if he's making light of the Founder, to which Anos explains that he is the Founder. Leorg ad his cronies threaten Anos, to which Anos invites all of the royals in the audience to join in the fight, which they do. As the fight starts, Anos makes all of their magic power to go out of control, causing most of the royals to self-destruct. Leorg then uses the origin magic Jirasd to attack Anos, but Anos remains unaffected. Anos reveals that since he is the origin from whom Leorg borrows power, he is immune to the spell.
A zombie Zepes
Anos tests Leorg, reviving Zepes as a zombie with Igram. He explains that as a zombie, Zepes is now stronger than Leorg, so he has no reason to hate him. He then tells Leorg to attack his brother, telling Leorg to use their brotherly bond to snap Zepes out of his rage, explaining that the two of them together might be able to damage him. Anos, however, is disappointed when Leorg cannot calm down Zepes, resulting in Zepes killing Leorg. He then revives the two brothers, leaving them behind as he proceeds to the next part of the exam.
The crystal shattered
Anos meets up with Misha in the magical evaluation section. As Anos goes to measure his power, he unintentionally overloads the device, resulting in the crystal shattering and Anos receiving a score of 0. After moving on to the aptitude portion, he is asked a series of questions about the Founder, and he answers all of them with no issue. After the exam, Anos invites Misha to have dinner with his family, and she accepts. Anos teleports them to his home with Gatom. They are quickly greeted by Izabella, who is thrilled that Anos passed the exam, but she and Gusta misinterpret Misha as Anos's girlfriend. After a dinner of Mushroom Gratin, Anos walks her home.

The following day, Anos receives many odd looks on his way to the academy. After entering his classroom, Anos tells everyone that he will rule them all as a joke, but no one reacts. He then sees Misha and sits by her. He asks her about everyone's odd behavior, and she reveals the cross on his uniform designated him as a misfit, unfit to be a demon king. Having a theory about how he was given that designation, Anos asks Misha to tell him the name of the Founder. Still, when she refuses, he reads her mind, learning that the Founder is believed to be Avos Dilhevia. This new information leads Anos to speculate that the wrong name was passed down in recorded history.

After the Demon King Ceremony, Anos discovers that he has lost some of his memories during his reincarnation. He dreamt about 2,000 years ago, he met up with Militia, and she told him that she has a sister, but due to some reasons, they cannot see each other. Seven years later, Anos brought a letter to Militia, which was from her sister,[1] but now, he cannot remember who the sister is. He theorizes her sister was Abernyu, the God of Destruction, so that would explain why they cannot meet since Militia's power is <Moon of Creation>. The opposite was Abernyu's <Sun of Destruction>. However, there is no certainty. To confirm this, Anos will have to return the Demon Castle Delsgade to its original state, which is Abernyu.[2]
When Anos is about to eat breakfast, Emilia, now a mixed-blooded demon, comes to his house and asks to hang out with him. While walking towards Delsgade, she confesses that she has nowhere to go and asks Anos for mercy. Hearing that, Anos told Emilia to go and teach the students in the Hero Academy Arclaniska, as it is losing credibility from the people. At first, Emilia refuses because she would be discriminated against since she's a demon. However, after Anos promises to prepare for her a position equivalent to the Seven Demon Elders if she continues to teach there for a year or accomplishes some results at Arclaniska, she finally agrees. Then, he tells Melheis about this for him to prepare.[2]
Anos turns himself into a 6-year-old boy called Anosh Portikoro and goes to the academy as a transfer student. Since the Demon King Academy is now open to everyone who is judged futuristic, Anosh could enroll in the academy even though he is six. The Anos' Team, except for Eleonore and Zeshia, knows that Anosh is Anos. Anosh introduces himself as a traveler; his special skill is impersonating the Demon King of Tyranny, and his favorite food is mushroom gratin. A student asks if he is a reincarnator, then Eldmed interrupts, saying that Anosh is a genius. Anosh chooses to sit at his previous seat, but since it is the Demon King's seat, the students scare that Anos' subordinate may kill him. Then, Shin walks into the class, introducing that he will be teaching swordsmanship at the academy from now on.[3]
In the swordsmanship training, students must divide into pairs and face each other. As it begins, a student in black calls out Anosh, named Ramon Iver, and questions him if he's a royal and also his opinion about the current Dilhade. It turns out that the student is in the royal resistance, which believes that Anos, the Demon King, is made up of the Unitarians. In order to join the resistance, Anosh has to prove his power, leading to a fight between him and Ramon. After he defeats Ramon in one blow, which kills him immediately and resurrects him, his power is now recognized; also, Ramon asks to hang out with him after school.[4][5]
While walking together, Ramon suggests Anosh pretend to be his brother-in-law and sign a contract that Anosh must listen to his order, to which Anosh agrees. Then, they reach their destination, which is the Angart family mansion, the head of this family is the direct descendants of the Seven Demon Elders.[6] Entering the mansion, Ramon leads him to an office, in which he meets Zerceus Angart, a demon who is second only to the Demon Lord Elio Ludwell. To be a part of the resistance, Anosh must show his strength to Zerceus, which requires him to hold a formidable demon for 10 minutes. With a mocking tone, Anosh demands beating allsix6 demons, saying that it would not even be a preparatory exercise for him. Just by waving his hands and putting his weight on the right leg, without touching those demons, Anosh creates a small tornado and a shock wave, making all his opponents fly around the room. The floor falls from the top to the first floor, whipping out allsix6 demons and nearly killing them. Finally, Zerceus acknowledged his power, asking if he could use the magic Nedra. Hearing Zerceus talking about Nedra and the magic Eage, Anosh predicts that Zerceus is planning to create a demon and manipulate it.[7]
After that, Zerceus, Anosh, and Ramon leave Midhaze, going down a tunnel, which is the resistance hideout. In the lowest level, a dragon is connected by various restraint chains, surrounded by soldiers. This is strange since the dragon was almost extinct 2,000 years ago. Zerceus tells Anosh to demonize it, intending to make the dragon his pet and direct them to Midhaze for them to raid the Demon King's Army. With Anosh's power, the dragon becomes too strong and attacks Zerceus's troops. However, when the soldiers cannot hold back anymore, Anosh burns the dragon into ashes with Jio Graze. While telling Zerceus that he had made a fatal mistake, Anosh turns himself to his original appearance, Anos, the Demon King of Tyranny. Zerceus's face is full of fear and despair; he keeps staring at Anos like he cannot believe it as he kneels at his spot. His body trembling and sweating, he could not even say a word as Anos told him that he had violated one of Dilhade's rules.[8]
Silver Water Holy Sea Arc
When visitors from outside the world appear, Anos and his friends learn that there are worlds outside their own. Two of them attack his mother, while another meets with Lay. Anos manages to protect his mother from the perpetrators, Kostoria Arzenon and Bobonga Arzenon, but the duo escapes. To find out where they came from, he follows the one that met with Lay, Balzarondo Freneros, outside the world. However, a fight breaks out when he is discovered, and Balzarondo's ship crash lands in the territory of the Two Laws Tyrant.
The Two Laws Tyrant uses magic that surpasses Anos' own, but he also learns how to use them as they battle. During the fight's climax, the Tyrant suddenly falls ill, so Anos decides to hear him out. Sympathizing with Roncruz, his real identity, Anos decides to help him reincarnate by fusing their sources together. Before going dormant, Roncruz tells Anos about the Silver Water Holy Sea and Pablohetara, the organization to which the people who attacked his mother belong.

Using what he learned from Balzarondo's ship, Anos creates a vehicle capable of exiting their universe using the Chief God's power, the Demon King Train Vertexfemblem. After recruiting his friends, allies, and the Demon King Academy's students, Anos finds and enrolls in the Silver Water Academy Pablohetara. While there, he enrages a stuck-up representative from another world, Cartinas Irvena, and accepts his challenge to a friendly competition between their worlds. He also reunites with his long-lost subordinate, Faris Noin, who had reincarnated outside their world and was considered missing.
In the Hierarchy War, Anos and his allies defeat the Silver Castle World Balandias. Afterward, he reincarnates Balandias into a unique world like Militia, allowing him to recover Faris' Fire Dew and turn Balandias' Chief God into his own minion.
