Who is Annie Verret? All about golfer Jordan Spieth’s wife

Should Jordan Spieth win his second green jacket at the 2021 Masters, expect wife Annie Verret to be by his side.

Married since 2018, Spieth praised high school sweetheart Verret in April 2021, following his win at the Valero Texas Open after a long victory drought — 1,351 days to be exact.

“My wife has been just a rock to me,” Spieth said, according to SI.com. “This is my first win since we’ve been married so it’s been progressing this way since maybe December. Before that, there were a lot of tough times. When you’re struggling at work, you try not to bring it home and that kind of stuff. I’m very grateful for the people I have around me.”

Although Spieth is one of the most notable names in the golf community, he and Verret have kept their longtime romance relatively under wraps.

A Texas Tech alum, Verret majored in business and has worked as an events coordinator at the First Tee of Greater Dallas, an organization that introduces young children to golf.

When it comes to Spieth’s competitions, Verret is always there to support him. For the 2015 Masters, the year the golfer picked up his first green jacket, he and Verret shared a kiss at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia.

For the 2019 Masters, the couple — who got engaged during the 2017 holiday season — had some fun with the Par 3 contest, in which the loved ones of golfers act as their caddies.

Spieth also shared a special moment with Verret in April 2022 after his RBC Heritage victory in South Carolina.

Spieth and Verret were joined by pros Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler, along with their significant others, Jillian Wisniewski and Allison Stokke, respectively.

When they aren’t on the road, Spieth and Verret reside in an $8.1 million home in Texas, according to The Sun.
